    I discovered TLDP whilst browsing the Coachella livestreams waiting for acts I follow to go live. Safe to say they became my favorite for the whole festival. • @plottwist8181
      @plottwist8181 2 месяца назад

      @@Ethan54136 I have derealisation for almost a year now and I'm just used to live with it and also I used to had depersonalization but it's gone so I only struggle with derealisation. When it first happened to me, I thought that my mind wasn't at the right place. People with derealisation often feel like they've been watching a movie, or in a videogame or like they're dreaming. It feels like watching the life in front of the window, which does not allow you to interract with world. It is also interesting to point that the anxiety can cause derealisation to be even more "affective". Some people think as if they're dead and with some cases, people might think that they're suffering from other psychic disorders such as shizophrenia. But the difference between phychosis and derealisation is that in derealisation the person has self-awareness about herself or himself so it's important to help the person to understand her or his situation and to let this person talk about her or his feelings for this person to be more secure of her or his own because, unfortunately, some people might end up on suicide and suffering from addictions
      Depersonalisation actually is a stress fighter mechanism, which protects us from 'reality' as our brain protects itself from developing more serious psychological disorders. But if it lasts longer that month, it becomes a disorder and the bad thing is that there isn't any special medicament treatment for this disorder or theraphy. You can ask the person what does make her or him feel like they've been making contact with reality, it could be everything: interracting with people, writing in diary, and in some cases, the hypnosis theraphy is a great try too.
      Also, it's also important to know, that the derealisation often being followed with depersonalisation.
      Depersonalisation is when the person couldn't remember her or his own favorite activities, interests, hobbies. There might be an apathy or lose of the interest in the developing stage of a syndrome so it's also why some people mistake it with shizophrenia symptom. The person could be looking at the mirror and hot recognizing herself or himself. The world feels 'emotionless' and you're also surrounded with feeling that you do everything "automatically".
      Because some people think that they're suffering from something worse, they might do the things to be 'remembered' by the other people or there could be a change in behaviour, because the person would think that she or he must act proper way as his 'disorder'.
      Derealisation is always unpredictable. Sometimes, it can just go on its own when the brain realises that there's no danger no more or something that could hurt the mental state and sometimes it lingers for years. But it's not the worst news ever because with some time, you'll just get used to it and be back to your normal life but having a feeling of seeing the world 'far aside'. Also, the last thing to mention is that during the depersonalisation/derealisation the person might think that she or he is speaking somebody's voice and that they're watching from the other person's perspective

    • @plottwist8181
      @plottwist8181 2 месяца назад

      @@Ethan54136 I myself struggle with this disorder for almost a year now and I'd say that the most stressful period of it was the beginning of it. Derealisation is othen bound to the depersonalisation disorder so I'd desribe it from my perspective.
      At first, there might be a lose of interest, an overall apathy for the world. The beginning of this disorder is always different. Sometimes, you just have it by the next day and sometimes (as in my case) it could be in process of developing through some time

    • @plottwist8181
      @plottwist8181 2 месяца назад

      @@Ethan54136There might be such symptoms as: the loss of memory (the person couldn't remember what she or he likes so she or he struggle with enjoying anything), the lack of concentration (the person can't concentrate because she or he is always surrounded with feeling as if she or he watching the world through the glass so the objects that she or he sees looks unreal to connect with), obsessive thoughts (sometimes the person might identify herself or himself with criminals and think that they might do something terrible because the person might mistake it with shizophrenia or other disorders), the 'fakeness' and 'emotionless' feeling of the world itself (the person might feel as if she or he is watching from somebody's perspective, being dead or 'not there')
