They do not see the need for protest, so for the people insulting Akwa Ibomites, please stop!!. Besides Akwa Ibom governors are doing well. For anyone to participate in a cause, they must first believe in that cause.
Akwa Ibom government is doing well in what sort ? Are you living in Akwa Ibom or Nigeria? How much is fuel in Akwa Ibom ? How much is a bag of rice in Akwa Ibom, how much is a bag of garri? Keep deceiving yourself. I'm from Akwa Ibom state and I must tell you that Lagos where I reside is much more better , because the cost of living in Akwa Ibom is something else so much that I wonder how people survive over there. Stop this mind games and face the reality of this hardship in Nigeria
I do not really have problem with Akwa Ibom State not coming out for the protest. If anyone remembered when Barr. Ebun Olu Adegboruwa submitted the notice of protest to the IGP through the CP, it was specifically stated that THE PROTEST IS HOLDING IN 8 STATES (perhaps apart from the FCT). The handlers of the protest know what they are doing. The 8 states are selected along the north-south divide. That is, 4 States in the North and 4 States in the South. I'm conversant that the states in the South included Lagos, Rivers, Edo and Bayelsa. I'm not so sure of the North, but I'm sure it should have included Kano and Kaduna. The leadership of the handlers of the protest in those 8 states must have been adequately briefed on their assignments. That is why people were adequately mobilised. Everyone will notice that aside Lagos, other Southwest states did not join the protest. There was no protest in Ekiti, Ondo, and even Ogun despite its closeness to Lagos. Any other state that joined outside the 8 states did so on their own, because there is real hunger and suffering in the land. I live in Ibadan, Oyo State capital. There is no protest here, except for the first day that very few persons gathered somewhere for a few hours. Even Osogbo, Osun capital, there's no protest except the second day that some persons gathered for just 2 hours. The states where the protests last were organised because they had organisers. Where the protest were shortlived, or did not hold at all had no organisers, hence were not organised. Akwa Ibom State fall into the category of states not slated for protest, therefore no organisers. Everyone will notice of course, that a few persons gathered on the first day. But it did not last because they had no leadership for the protest. Don't mind the persons in the interview. They were never part of the protest, just like the government-sponsored groups. THAT IS MY THOUGHT WHY THERE SEEM TO BE NO PROTEST IN AKWA IBOM STATE.
Pls don't say that thing's are very expensive in akwa ibom oo ask anyone that you know is from there, not that I'm in support of what they are saying oo but because I know very well that's akwa ibom is expressing hardship more than we do here in Lagos and other states

If you don't want to protest, then stop crying about high cost of living. You want other people to go out and protest for you and your generation. Look at other states, the children, women, youth old people are protesting because they have felt the pain of bad Government, you are here saying I'm comfortable in the presence situation, are you OK?
