Love your amazement! Same concert, SORROW, COMFORTABLY NUMB, COMING BACK TO LIFE, HIGH HOPES, TIME, SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND. All from the same Pulse concert. Welcome.
You will never find another band like this. Off the charts.

I slept a night outdoors to get myself a ticket when they came to my town on that tour. So worth it, and I did not know it was the last opportunity to see Pink Floyd as a band. They went out with a major bang. It was monumental.
    Untouchable.

I love this performance; Tim Renwick is also a phenomenal guitarist. I was fortunate enough to see David Gilmour on his solo tour in 2016 when it came through Chicago. Apparently, he wants to release a new album and possibly tour with it in the next year or two, per a recent Rolling Stone interview. On his last tour, he played a lot of Pink Floyd classics along with his solo work. Definitely worth it to see him live if you get the chance.

Pink Floyds' music speaks to the essence of a persons soul, like no other band ever. A person feels their music as much as they listen to it. I've seen them twice, both phenomenal performances that only PF could pull off!
They've sold more than 400 million albums worldwide, that's the most albums sold by any band in history,... except The Beatles of course, who have sold over 600 million!
You're outta luck as far as seeing them live, Pink Floyds' original members, (not including Syd Barrett who left the band in 1968), David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Rick Wright and Nick mason,... last performed together at Live 8 Benefit Concert in 2005.
There's a video of 'Comfortably Numb from that 2005 concert, at the time it had been over 20 years since the four of them had performed together,.... and it was their last.
David Gilmour continued on playing Pink Floyd songs under his own name, I think his last tour was in 2016. Today, David Gilmour is 75 years old, so I don't think your chances of seeing a genuine PF concert are too good.
There are a few Pink Floyd Tribute bands that do a pretty good job of replicating their music,.. but of course it's not the same.

I don't remember THIS song from the 1994 'Pulse' concert. Maybe they played something else that night. But....I saw it played when I attended 3 of their shows during their 'Momentary Lapse of Reason' tour. The 'Pulse' (...or 'Division Bell' ) tour....I went to 2 of those. They opened with 'Astronomy Domine'.....and sprinkled in a lot of other old classics....played all of 'The Division Bell' album.....& then for their 2nd set.....did ALL of the 'Dark Side of the Moon'. Encores were 'Comfortably Numb' & 'Run Like Hell'.

Samantha Brown (born 7 October 1964) is an English singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, arranger and record producer. Her father is Joe Brown. George Harrison was best man at Brown's second wedding in 2000.
Brown is a ukulele player and was a blue-eyed soul and jazz singer. She came to prominence in the late 1980s as a solo artist, releasing six singles that entered the UK Singles Chart during the 1980s and 1990s. Her solo singles, sometimes dealing with lost love included "Stop!", "This Feeling", "Can I Get a Witness", "Kissing Gate", "With a Little Love" and "Just Good Friends". She worked as a session backing vocalist, working with artists such as Gary Moore, George Harrison, Small Faces, Spandau Ballet, Adam Ant, Jon Lord (of Deep Purple), Pink Floyd (also David Gilmour), The Firm, Dodgy and Nick Cave.
Brown released her debut album Stop! in 1988. Since then, she has released five studio albums, one EP and three compilation albums, as well as three albums as part of the group Homespun, but lost her singing voice in 2007.
She is the daughter of musician Joe Brown and session singer Vicki Brown. Brown's first work in the music industry was in 1978 at the age of 14, when she sang backing vocals on the final studio album by the Small Faces, 78 in the Shade. She also worked as a backing vocalist with several other bands, including Spandau Ballet and with her mother on former Deep Purple keyboardist Jon Lord's third solo album Before I Forget.

I was a teenager in the 70's. EVERY 2 weeks a different band was coming to the Washington D.C. area. Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, The Who, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac., Kiss, Parliament-Funkadelic... On and on and on....Sometimes 2 or 3 groups would play the same night.

I'm afraid no one will go to the Pink Floyd concert :-(. David Gilmour did his last concert (in Pompeii) without the other members of the band in 2016. Rick Wright died in 2008 and that's why no one in the original Pink Floyd Also, don't forget that they are all old (1944 and 1946, respectively), so they will soon be 80 years old ... We will only have to listen to their music from the radio, albums and film recordings. thanks for enriching our lives.

there will never again be a Pink Floyd live show. David has stated as much, saying without Rick it would be wrong to attempt a Pink Floyd concert, and that portion of history is in the past, with no room in the present or future for such sacrifices(his opinion of playing with Roger again is that it's a sacrifice for the benefit of the fans).

I'll simply say this. The Stones may record great music, but live there isnt a single act that can match what Pink Floyd offers. You want a truly epic musical experience, watch the entire Pulse concert, every song. The production level, the extreme synchronization between the lights and music. Their simple design was to give fans a Visual and Musical experience. No band or artist can even keep up.

Roger was doing THE WALL still. And Gilmour touring as Gilmour but the remaining three haven't been on stage together as PF since the last Live Aid concert 2005. I saw Roger Waters in 2002 IN THE FLESH tour. he has a lot of great stuff outside of PF. Amused to death / Bravery of being out of range / Perfect Sense. Etc of course it still sounds very floyd like

This song would have to be about astral projection, and if you have ever done this then you would assume the writter of the song has also. Its just sooo perfect in capturing that momemt when you actually realise you dont HAVE to hang around inside your sleeping body, it will be there when you get back. Theres no joy ride in the world "to compare to this". Its like fantasy just became reality. That moment of enlightenment, earth bound but not right now. Ill never forget looking back at earth, this little blue planet and thinking, is this too far, maybe i go back now.
