    Is it really necessary to remove the battery by unscrewing it or is it safe to pull the ssd while the battery is still there?

    Can you confirm that if we want to upgrade the Ally X SSD to something like a Samsung 990 Pro SSD, we don’t need to install an extra heatsink and we can just reuse the mylar cover from the stock Ally X SSD?

      Hi, do you use the original black cover? How does it goes with the temp from Samsung Magician?

      @@erw1nk779 I did some research and most people are using the original black cover / shielding from the SSD that came in the Ally X and putting it on the new SSD, just like in the video. They said that temps have been fine. A lot have been using the 990 Pro SSD’s to upgrade in their X’s, along with WD SN850X too. You should be fine just following the steps in the video.

    What size is the Philips Screw? I'm trying not to strip the screws as much as possible.
    Also, where can I purchase the sponge pad used in the video? With the cutouts for the joysticks.

    I have a question can you answer : I see a "system update" option in my asus app my laptop is asus tuf f15 rtx 3050 in this laptop do I get all the updates in my asus without going to the website itself for installation of driver's.

    Hello ASUS, I’m thinking to upgrade the ssd of my Ally X. I haven’t even turned it on. It’s brand new. Can I change the ssd directly or should I first turn it on and create an account or a backup?

      You can directly replace it and then restore the system through Cloud Recovery in UEFI BIOS to recover.

    Hello, I have an asus zenbook ux533ftc laptop. And it has a problem that makes it useless as a laptop! The problem is that the discrete gtx1650 max-q video card consumes 7.6 watts in idle mode and generates a corresponding TDP of 7.6. All this happens with the video card not in use, while in the task manager the load on this video adapter is 0% (it is not used at all!) If you disable the gtx1650 max-q in the device manager, the total power consumption of the system decreases by 7.6 watts. But after rebooting the laptop, the consumption is again higher by 7.6 watts, and the gtx1650 max-q is still disabled in the manager! Viruses are excluded after a complete reinstallation of win10 from the cloud, the problem did not disappear.
    This problem makes it ineffective to use this laptop as a stand-alone device. I always bought Asus products considering them reliable but now I am very disappointed with the Asus product.
    I am going to make a video with tests demonstrating the engineering defect of this laptop.

      Please try long-pressing the power button to shut down the laptop and then restart it to confirm. Alternatively, you can try resetting the BIOS to its default values.
