love y'alls optimism and attitude! Amazing you got granite, fifty, stony mountain as a walk up, they're some of the most sought after permits in the park.
Very nice video, I admire your enthusiasm. I have read that aquatic plants have more nutritional value than their ground dwelling counterparts. This may partially explain the enormous size of the moose. When I was younger I also backpacked in Glacier. At 75 years those days are done for me but will always be an indelible memory. Continued great adventures and be safe.
I’m planning a retreat for 15 people for the end of September, 26-29th. Do you know if a vehicle reservation is still need for those dates? The site says it is in affect from May 27th-Sept. 11th. Info is quite confusing from all the info I’m gathering and what they have on the official site.

Im not 100% sure. Sounds right though. Only in effect for peak season.
So you dont need to make reservations to drive going to the sun road if you get there early?
Correct! And in the evening as well
