I love my etek, i was about to correct you on it but then saw you figure it out in the video. Yes,it does take a little finesse but has great adjustability in my opinion.
Ditch all those and get a MSR pocket rocket deluxe or Soto windmaster and an MSR Universal or an Optimus Polaris. It will blow away all of those other stoves. It's all you'll ever need. Besides maybe a little alcohol stove. Good reviews though.
Thanks for all this testing. Is there any real reason to run some of these stoves on full blast other than to waste fuel and satisfy one's pyro's instincts? Wouldn't it be more efficient to only use the valve to have the stove flame cover less than half diameter of the pot bottom?

awesome job on the testing the camping stoves. GSI is my go to. TOAK might be my next upgrade but I really want a BOT

For purposes of testing and consistency, it was easiest and simplest to turn the valves to maximum opening.
