I built a balsa Romulan ship around a tiny drone fly's great. You can do this to the reliant also. The D-9 is my favorite they should of made the neck a huge long ranged gun.
1:30 Oh that's a shuttle bay? I thought it was just engineering. Actually I thought it would be cool if it detached and attached to an enemy vessel and a raiding party came out of it.
Looking even better than the last time with the upgrades👍..it was i that mentioned the Gap in the warp nacelles & if it were on the Studio model or not. Thanks for the answer before i start building mine🖖
RE: The "neck" attachment to the Main Hull. Just looking over my kits on this, "droop" occurred to me as a real possibility. Something I will address during my builds. I have to finish the Enterprise re-fit first, since already started ... AND I will need StarFleet protection from the K't'inga! Oh wait, we have a "treaty"...well.
Hey Boyd. No one gets Sick of seeing Any Models you Showcase. I have a Question. Can you please do a Size Comparison Video of the Atomic City Models D7 Next to This Polar lights model Side by side. I would like too see how they compare. The bigger the model kit the better for me. Thanks again. Vic........
Boyd I know you're busy. How about making a list of your lighting suppliers and lights. I have a 1/350 scale Enterprise refit id like build. No idea what is needed. Same for my 1/6 scale B9 robot from Lost in space
I can look at that ship all day! When I do mine I think a brass tube from the front to the ship for the neck. For the shuttle bay leave open all the time why ever hide all that wonderful work
Brass square tubing in the neck would be a better way to structurally reinforce the neck to the main body and still be able to run your wire's through it. Great help/tip vid.
You've been helping me with my builds since 2011 thanks for always giving back to the community.
Love this channel Boyd, glad it's back, happy modelling 😉👍
Keep sharing the fun Boyd.
Awesome K'tinga build Boyd, well done!....Bill
Thanks, it's an awesome model kit.

Hopefully you'll do the Kronos One next year. Your craftsmanship turns every model into art :)
Thanks for sharing. Do you need to do a clear coat after the weathering. If so, do you need to mask the lights?
Yes, it's clear coated with a Matte finish and it doesn't bother the lights.

Great Video, great Tipps and the highlight...the Frankenstein on end😂😂

Did you ever find out what the name of the ship is in Klingon that is on the base?
Nope, I guess not many can read Klingonese :)
Thanks for the Q&A Boyd! Keep the good work!
what paint colour did you use ?
Haha!! Love the ending!!
;)

Nice work! Definitely a modelers video. Thanks for sharing. Scotty would like your choice of words "Hump Back" :)

She looks fantastic Boyd! My favorite point of view is from the stern gazing at those bright lights from the onion bulb.
Thank you for telling those secrets! Where can I find detailed pictures of the studio model?
Love that bird. Thats all that saved you from Pok Choi!
Very nice! Thank you for sharing
Thanks for the extra information Boyd.
Nice job. Thanks
Beautiful build Boyd!👍
Great color scheme.
Boyd, request. 2001 EVA Pod!!!!
Oh for sure I'll be building that one in the future. It's awesome.
Miss you Boyd!
A resin bay door may be in the works buddy!
That would be nice to top off the shuttle bay :)
