- Cool stuff is always happening in the Guitar Hero modding scene, but this was a project that really tickled my fancy. Being able to play the vast majority of the Guitar Hero series all in one game with full animations and proper setlist sorting is a dream come true. Customs started to scratch that itch, but it just /felt/ wrong without the band members having the right animations. Now you can play all your favorite songs from the World Tour era in Warriors of Rock in the way they were intended to be experienced.
Huge thank you to Addy Mills for all his hard work making this project happen and for letting me have early access so we could coordinate our video releases.

It's honestly impressive how good WoR still looks after all these years.

I personally believe that both Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero have the best overall graphics and character designs, but Warriors Of Rock definitely still looks very excellent as well.

It’s the best of both worlds: we now have the song-specific animations from virtually all the GH games combined with the revamped drummers animations. Addy is a BEAST. 🙏🏽🔥
The way the drummer's animations work in WoR is so natural that sometimes I cant tell when the animations are stock or when theyre mocap.

Having huge lag issues on my 360 with GH5 and WoR, I don’t own a pc or modded console and my 4k TV isn’t able to run the 5 prong HDTV plug only a 3 component jack in the back. Curious if you know of a fix I’m able to attempt
Been following Andy Mills since I saw the Metallica tracks being ported over, absolute kudos for this man for bringing such an amazing experience to console. I absolutely love this!

To be honest, when guitar hero world tour came out it was the best game ever just like warriors of rock hell I hope they do a new guitar hero pretty soon in 2024

It's amazing that there is a dedicated fanbase making custom animations for this game. Though I do wonder why Van Halen didn't get exports.
Well technically they're not MAKING the animations, they're just taking pre-existing animations from different games and making them work in other games, but still Addy knocked it out of the park with these

It's amazing seeing all this content get ported to what's probably the definitive official Guitar Hero engine. Only one problem. I'm a Wii Guitar Hero player. And I don't have any expectations that version of the game is gonna get this content.
If you can get a modded Trinity 360 I really recommend it. It's a rhythm game beast. Having this and RB3 DX on the same system with tons of content is wild. The ultimate party machine. I say this as someone who used to play on Wii and even made my own LEGO RB export for it, lol.
@@EuroMIX2 Since I posted this comment I have gotten adapters that let me use my instruments on PS3 and have enjoyed this mod using that.

Having everything all in one place? That sounds a little complicated. Although I feel like something’s telling me the animations in some songs might be a bit off in some venues in Warriors of Rock, like the mansion or the Demigod’s imprisonment. I mean, those venues don’t really have the same stage layout as the others.

Guitar Hero Live was developed by FreeStyle Games. All the previous main five-fret games were developed by either Harmonix or NeverSoft.
Neversoft died before Guitar Hero Live was made, so at least they went out with a bang.

Is anyone having an issue on Xbox 360 where the World Tour DLCs aren't working in GH5? Idk about WoR since I don't have it on 360.
AFAIK this is only designed to work with WoR. I tried DLC with Band Hero and it wanted the now defunct patches from the shop. I think you need a modded 360 for this to work anyway, so just grab a copy of WoR online.

Really a bummer that Activision gave up on PC ports after WT, it would have spared these guys a lot of work and saved users the extra step of emulation. I want to get into RB3 Deluxe when I get some time, but this is also on my radar. Do you have a preference for 360 or PS3 emulation? I have a beefy enough PC to handle both, and I have a GH5 Wiitar with Raphnet and a 360 RB2 Strat with the official wireless adapter for PC.
For emulation, RPCS3 is by far your best option. Xenia still isn't great for the GH and RB games, but RPCS3 is damn near perfect

use the same links in the description. Go back a folder and you'll see a larger list of folders, one of which is DLC.
Can't go up a folder from the link. Last folder I can access are missing exports and re-animation

How does this compare to World Tour Definitive Edition
This is more WoR with every song since WT made available. WTDE is heavily modded, and offers more features, but some people might prefer WoR's engine.
I understand why you deleted your "how to get every DLC..." videos, but there are some key details missing in this tutorial now :(

Is there a 60fps patch for warriors of rock?
Nope
You can on RPCS3 by setting the vblank to 120fps. You need a strong CPU like an intel 12th gen and up tho for the venues with the crowds. Furthermore, you can also cap your game at a lower FPS and still enjoy the animations at a higher fps than 30.

Do these make it possible to play the game with controller like World Tour DE? Don’t have a PS3 Guitar and honestly I’ve never minded controller gameplay, especially in GH1, the only one that implemented it well funnily enough

Doubtful. This only seems to add all the song content and animations from every game since WT, it doesn't add other features.

Is it just me or does guitar hero games have better audio quality than rock band games?
I love and play both games. I just notice I don’t have to turn the volume up that much as I do on rock band. I use Dolby digital on both with a surround sound system.
I always though the opposite but I never tried with Dolby digital on. Is it worth it ? Also I always found that songs from the World Tour era sound louder than those from the GH5 era.
@@Crimsongz yeah if you have a sound system or tv that supports Dolby Digital it does sound better it makes it louder and clearer imo. But yeah rock band 1-3 does have bass boost.

Guitar hero 5 and warriors of rock are a major downgrade in graphics and frame rate. WT, Metallica, VH are way better.
