Great video Carl, I like the fact that the doors open properly and I’m sure a small adjustment will allow the door to open farther. Thanks for this awesome tip.
Nice work I learned a similar technique for putting ramps on LCVP's. Acetone will clean that super glue off your fingers also it will clean up that glue tip. Manufactures recommendation, I tried it, it works. Adam
Thanks for sharing your tips. Been thinking about getting back into models again haven't messed with them for about 23 years now. Great job on the video and keep up the Great work. 👍
Thanks for taking the time! I cringed at a few of your comments- lol! Very helpful advice for making door hinges and not getting finger printed (joke). Thanks again.
Thanks for sharing. I am working on the Batmobile and was wondering how I would get the doors to open inward to the fender and your video helped me decide how I will go about it. very helpful vid dude thanks.
Hi there brian here from kit bashers corner, saying that i love ur topic on making hinge's for your model,I'm looking at starting to do that on some of my kit's,keep up the great work1
Great video , very detailed how-to . I agree the mag articles fall short of completely how to accomplish the result , but you nailed it . I need to start opening panels to keep up with the competition . I have done deck lids , but the doors intimidate me. Thanks for the video ! I heard you mention North Carolina in one of other video's , Still live there ? Billy ,
I appreciate the kind words Mr Vega. I just had a vision and was looking through my Scale Auto at the article and decided that it needed to be clarified. I found myself guessing at what to do, where to cut all that. So...I did it the way I thought best and out in on video. I'm extremely glad this video has helped people accomplish hinging, it definitely adds a dose of realism to a build. Thanks again, sir. I have subbed to your channel as well.
Good to hear from you . North Carolina is still very much active with model shows / competitions . I live in Virginia , but most travel a few times a year to NC for model shows. The CKM Show in Clemmons , ,Every other year Raliegh IPMS , and sometimes I believe there one is Salisbury . Good Luck with your move back ! Take care , Billy V.
Nice job on the video. I don't use CA much, but I remember using Rubbing Alcohol to remove it from fingers. I liked the video. Didn't feel like 20 minutes watching you. You will get better with practice. How long did it take to shoot the video and get it ready for RUclips?
I am new to modeling I enjoyed your hinge video, found it to be easier. I am working on a 1967 corvette how do I assemble the inner panel to the door, and do I have to cut out the tub?
you guys I love your how-to videos, however I don't know if it's nerves while filming or what. but you all talk for at least 3 min before you get into the actual hands on of the operation your demostrating.

Is that a bad thing??
Make your doors hinge out then you don't need such a gap at the fender.
I was thinking that this thing is very easy but little hard ok
What's your profile picture?
