Just like Crash N.Sane Trilogy with Vicarious and Spyro reignited trilogy with Toys for bob.
That metal clanging beat in the background is a big part of it for me. People always seem to change it or downplay it, but it's such a big part of the song for me that it just doesn't quite sound right when it's changed.

The best part about these remixes is hearing how the individual remixer handles the mining sound effects. You did them splendidly, nice work!

i just use openspc with the original rom and it spits out a .it file which you open up in a tracker and it has all the arrangements and samples
