Hope this thing of back plate connections spreads to other brands. Also kinda mind blowing that after years of "bad" cable management, someone remember "let's put the connectors on the back"
I would be OK if only the Graphics card had front cables.. but all the others, like power, fans, front panel and usb definitely need to be on the back. Also the SSDs now are in the back, why the need for the sata connectors be in the front...
Awesome build, Mike. Imagine how good that would look with those ugly black water hose replaced with clear tubing full of either a clear UV liquid or a color of your choice.
@@mikesunboxing Yeah; interesting use of quick couplers. I don't know how they could work extension fittings, 45 or 90 degree fittings or a half dozen other fittings I've used into their system. But I can't wait to see what they come up with.
What a very interesting build of I assume expensive components. Love the motherboard design, very star wars futuristic, plus all the storage built in with no sata cables etc. The aio looked so easy to install with no heavy weight baring down on motherboard. Agree the aio pipes look odd but only too long imo, especially when compared to the Ceres 500 behind which seem better fit. Add in the ease of wiring up out of sight and you have a showcase! Thanks for reviewing Mike and Kath 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! it was a nice build to do and actually the power supply and rear io is so much easier to do and cable manage like this. And it looks very clean and tidy in the front
On the various Hidden Connector motherboard’s could you reach out to your contacts and ask them the following: ‘Why can’t the CMOS Battery be placed on the back of the motherboard to make easier swap out when needed’? It would make it easier to replace the battery without removing CPU’s or cover’s! Very nice instruction video of your build using Hidden Connector Motherboards! Thank you!
I do like that motherboard, Asus do make the best motherboards, shame it's Intel.. Nvidia.. That Ram does look nice, like we keep saying TT do make some nice stuff.. The black rad looks good, because some of the mobo is black.. Really nice build, great video.. The way you explain is great for new builders, if any one is nervous on their first build just follow this..
Great build. The big question remains if this is going to be the standard for motherboards and cases going forward. It seems manufacturers are keen for this BTF format.
i think it will take a while, but the large number of cases with the cut outs at computex shows that it is going to be an option for new cases and actually quite easy to do
Nice build Mike. Very soothing to watch PC's being built. I like the tri-color scheme. Looks nice. Great how to from the Dynamic Duo. Thanks for sharing guys. Is this going to be your main Rig? You know me Mike... I always use a contact frame for the CPU. Glad you used the Hydronaut paste. Take care everyone. Be safe. Cheers

yeah that is really bad value for money in my opinion. They had a circular version like the AIO tops that can go there, maybe those will be a lot cheaper to produce
It's funny. The first PC cases were beige. Then everyone wanted black cases. Now, most people want white cases. I wonder how long it will be before people want their cases beige again? LOL

Looks stunning you make PC building look so effortless
that is very kind of you to say. With this one the praise really needs to go to the platform, it was so easy to put together
Hope this thing of back plate connections spreads to other brands. Also kinda mind blowing that after years of "bad" cable management, someone remember "let's put the connectors on the back"
yeah it is such a simple yet effective idea, i like it a lot

Awesome build, Mike. Imagine how good that would look with those ugly black water hose replaced with clear tubing full of either a clear UV liquid or a color of your choice.
yeah that will happen one day. I like the new phanteks universal soft or hard tube quik fit fittings
@@mikesunboxing Yeah; interesting use of quick couplers. I don't know how they could work extension fittings, 45 or 90 degree fittings or a half dozen other fittings I've used into their system. But I can't wait to see what they come up with.
Great looking white build, I have a all white build myself in a Antec C8 case, You must change the AIO for a white one😊
yeah that is on the cards at some point
Lovely set of components there! System building is a lot of fun, I'm envious of you getting to play with this stuff!
sadly it doesn't all stay with us but i agree it is fun

that is a really good point actually
Nice and tidy, I hope it will be a standard in next few years.
I hope so too

thank you for the kind comment, much appreciated
Looks better than the one from Saturday stream 😀
that one has had a transformation now and already 2 offers this morning after listing it yesterday
Really enjoyed watching this, great pacing and I love the clean no-wires look!
Thank you very much!
I hope one of the motherboard makers releases a new X870E BTF (Back to Future) Project Zero or Project Stealth motherboard.
it will come soon don't worry
@@mikesunboxing I think you slipped that MSI already had something in the works on one of your videos.

Would have been better to have a white psu Mike!
Awesome Video!! Thanks for the upload
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful

cheers rick, think i will be taking this apart and looking at my options, i don't think the form factor or the case is helping me out much here
@@mikesunboxing Well that' not good. I'm starting to like the 280mm AIO's
Yeah 280 is a nice blend of performance and easier to install in tight spaces
I'll l👀k at anything Tt, clean little build.
thank you very much
Great video mike! But Maybe its just me, i guess the cable management behind gets more confusing. Also i like sleeved cables on the front. :)
i have taken to the hidden wires, and recently i decided to swap out the powersupply and it was so quick and easy to do, love it
Can you please review the Msi pro b650m-A WiFi mobo 🙏🙏
i'll see what i can do
The clips holding the front panel do not seem very sturdy. Do you think that the front panel may become loose as the clips wear out over time?
we have 3 of those cases here and no signs of the clips giving up anytime soon
Are there electric screwdrivers that PC builders can use?
yes many models and lots of brands do them

Can i ask you something?
I have a new motherboard asus prime B450M-KII
And a 8gb gpu
But when i look in windows 10 with Speccy its only let.s see 4gb
Must i chanche something in the bios ?
Can you please help me out
I dont no what to do
But i believe y must chanche something in the bios
I hope you can send me the solution
Great video again keep it up
You are helping a lot of people
Thnx have a nice weekend you and youre familyb
yes in the bios enable above 4g decoding and resizeable bar
Thnx Mike y already did that ..
But speccy is not ok at.this time i lookt on another program and its 8gb but speccy stil 4 gbb
Thanks again
Nice to see intel getting some love 😅
yeash they don't get a lot these days
this case or corsair 4000d airflow rgb or bequit 500dx wich one is best air flow
probably the ceres 300 range, it has really good open airflow
To really make it white out use a white AIO :)
yeah i need to address that at some point
just needed a white aio
it is coming soon hopefully
Is the btf edition worth the extra money?
it has pros and cons. no melting connector is a big plus and the the easy wiring is good. the overall look is great, i am often just looking at the PC and admiring it, i don't usually do that :-)
downsides are you need to get a BTF motherboard and case that supports that.
ASUS are supposed to be doing a BTF adapter soon so that it can also be used in a traditional motherboard
i cant believe the price that Tt decided for the lcd panel tho...
yeah that is really bad value for money in my opinion. They had a circular version like the AIO tops that can go there, maybe those will be a lot cheaper to produce
It's funny. The first PC cases were beige. Then everyone wanted black cases. Now, most people want white cases. I wonder how long it will be before people want their cases beige again? LOL
yeah it might be the new meta at some point
A standard cooler would’ve been better Mike!
i disagree, an aio is the way with these CPUs
Where tf is the wireless…
pretty much no wires visible compared to traditional PC setups
