I keep starting off with this on my to buy list, then cycle through other cases month after month-- but I always land back here. I am tempted to go 500 now though depending on if it supports 420mm radiators!
Looking to upgrade to this case for my Radeon RX 6800XT which was just gifted to me. Too long a girthy for my current case. But based on this review it will fit with room to spare. And my CPU Air tower will fit as well. Those were my 2 primary concerns. Great build video and details on the case!
Thank you, especially for the comparison with the 500 model. Apparently temps will be almost the same with 300 model and I can add 140 mm fan at to bottom if I need a bit more air.
Like the size but not the Black cables in a White case or having the Front I/O on top as for desktop it should be on the bottom front so you can use on desk left or right side.
it is weird it kept the same height and can obviously fit 140mm fans in the front, but can't still accommodate 3 140mm fans or a 420mm radiator in the front. That discrepancy does not make sense.
It's the change to the position of the front IO. Moving it from the left side (ceres 500) to the top (ceres 300) reduces the available vertical height.
The intro got me thinking that it could be compact enough for my space but it's a lot wider than I thought. The max width that I can have is 220mm. Height and depth are both 480mm. Any recommendations for a case that can fit there is appreciated. I'll be extra happy if it *doesn't* have a glass panel!
Lian Li Lancool 216 seems to be the better purchase over this TT Ceres 300. It has 2 160mm front intake fans, amazing cable management, fan hub included, and the ability to buy another IO hub for $15 to mount to the side is awesome. Don’t get me wrong, I love the direction TT is going with these new cases.
Thanks for the review, CJ. Case looks really cool and I've been looking for a new one. I've been trying to look for a review of this case that includes detailed information on temperature and noise levels during idle and load. For the thermal performance, what was the computer doing for your temperature recordings? Were you running any benchmarks (Cinebench, Uniengine, Furmark), gaming, rendering, etc? The temperatures you have listed do not mean anything to me if I have no idea what conditions they were recording? Your review also lacks any information of the components used inside the case? Does your channel has a test methodology for cases listed somewhere?
@@ElevatedSystems I'm sorry I did not read the video description carefully. I see the builld list. My mind must have confused them for promotional and social media links. Thank you elaborating the test metrics.
Super eye catching and no doubt of great construction case; but what if need to put 2 or 3 hdd´s? I´d like to buy it but i got 2 2.5 ssd and 2 3.5 hdd's and it would become a problem put them inside this case since seems th7ere is no extra device for drives.
Are you using the drives for parity? If not you may consider upgrading and consolidating your storage along with the case upgrade. High capacity 2.5 inch SSDs are relatively inexpensive at this point. New general purpose and gaming case designs are getting away from including a lot of hard drive mounting locations as most new builds lean more heavily on M.2 and SSD storage.
@@ElevatedSystems Thanks a lot for your answer! I don understand what you mean for parity; but in fact, I just need to swap all my internal components to a new case because the front panel of my current set up was broken in a negligence, also usb ports are not useful anymore, plus I'll add an extra drive because the system is used by my brother due his work and a nephew in his games besides me with more games and work, and each one of us have our files well organized. Perhaps i'll search elsewhere. Have a great day!!
I didn't realize how good Phanteks was until I switched to the Thermaltake Ceres 300. I'm coming from the Phanteks P350x. I had to buy something wider to avoid bending the 12V-2×6 / 12VHPWR. The Ceres 300 is the lowest quality case I have ever used. The front case joints will probably break after a few times being pulled out. The steel is as thin as paper all over the case. The tempered glass doesn't sit flush, and there are huge gaps between the case and the tempered glass. I'm never going to buy anything from Thermaltake again.
Great observation on the available LCD Screen. It's a handsome case in spite of that!
Just bought this case for my first ever build, super excited
Looking at this case rn, thanks for the thorough review 🤙
Just bought one in black and i keep coming back to reviews just to remind myself that its so good looking love the review nice stuff man

Great review! Thanks for the in depth/concise video. Hit every single question I had.
Hi I have a suggestion. You can include the technical details as you go explaining in the video during your review.
Nice to be able to flip the I/O shield around for horizontal/vertical and instead of the case being oversized to allow for both

Was looking at the Fractal Design Focus 2 but might get this. Pretty nice case.
The 360 front mount is a damn tight fit. Requires some grinding on the case due to fitment issues with the Liquid Freezer II AIO.
The clips holding the front panel do not seem very sturdy. Do you think that the front panel may become loose as the clips wear out over time?
Thank you, especially for the comparison with the 500 model. Apparently temps will be almost the same with 300 model and I can add 140 mm fan at to bottom if I need a bit more air.
How?
Which one do you think is better, this or MSI Gungnir 110R?
A nice detailed review. I wish only a steel side version instead of the glass one without any ARGB flash.

Thanks CJ, nice review. And that T-shirt… Like it a lot. Oddly I remember my childhood looking at it ;-)

Lian li 216 has no dust filters in the front. I have TT ceres 300 and its great! Amazing airflow and looking awseome!
I know the chanel is going in a different direction, but Elevated Systems makes my favorite case reviews
I will still be doing regular case reviews. I have 2 that just arrived.
They need to bring the matcha green color to NA. Cool case
Keep up the good work
How strong is the metal parts of the case? I heard in a few user comments that they are easy to bend and bend.
it a very solid case dont worry
Great vid and thanks for the excellent info!

The system specs are listed in the description. The CPU temps from a 20 minute Aida64 stress test, GPU from a 20 minute Port Royal loop.

Can you fit the Thermalright Burst Assassin cpu air cooler in there on a mini itx board? 🤔
Not the same height. 525 vs 475 aka 20.7 vs 18.7 inches
I have the black one and I love it
Good review 👏
The case can only hold 1x 3.5 drive or 2x 2.5 drives

algorithm comment. keep it up.
Ditto. Gotta keep him supported.
yes, this needs boosting
Absolutely!
For the algorithm!

I dig white cases so much
