I am so happy to find a channel with someone who looks more like ME! I thought I couldn't make clothes with style or fit. Thank you! The apron is adorable, and so are you!
I also love using safety pins to get things turned inside out or string something through a waist tube of pants, skirt, or a window curtain. The apron looks fantastic. Tyvm!!!
Really beautiful! Love the idea of using old tablecloth’s. Been thinking of doing something with some of the ones I have and this was a good idea! Thank you for a great video❤
Funny but I have been thinking of my grandmother's table clothes n hankies lately n been wanting some aprons too... thank you for putting both together ❤️... my project will have to wait till spring cause grandmother's things are in a cold storage area... I'll have to check out this pattern... a beautiful way to honor your grandmother's legacy...
Love this but I could never have pockets like that. They would be full of whatever I was cooking lol. Stick out too far for me, maybe a pleat at the top to tighten? Have to try. Definitely make the pinafore, very flattering on you
Thank you! Yes I just ordered some fabric to. This was the look with the pockets, but yes I did already get a pocket full of blueberries 🤣 I saw some that were rounded with a keyhole that tied which I nearly made. There are so many cute pockets.
Hi Ashley! Thank you for making this video! I am acquainted with Gerty’s patterns but haven’t yet tried them. Are they not in a layered pdf or copyshop format? That is a lot of lines, so much like a big four pattern.
I really appreciate that you include how you modify the pattern.
I am glad it is helpful!
I love how it turned out! The apron matching with the Pyrex collection is *chefs kiss* 🤌
Thank you! ❤️

Thank you! ❤️ Its why I share.
I love aprons. I haven't seen that one before.
What a wonderful memory for your grand mother. It turned out great. I love vintage patterns. Keep inspiring.
Thank you so much!
Love the repurposed sentimental fabric onto a high use garment. Also, you have saved my mind when trying to turn a tube! Thank you for the video!
I am so glad to hear it was helpful!

A really pretty pattern for an apron and I love that you have given new life to part of your nana’s table cloth! 👏
Thank you :)
Your apron looks so cute! Thank you for sharing your process and the lovely sewing tips!
I am glad it was helpful!
It’s a beautiful apron as well as looking totally functional, which is always my first goal.
Thank you! Yes functional was definitely the goal with this one
@@ashleymainmakes ❤️❤️❤️
Looks and fits great, flattering. For myself I would have the straps closer together.
I love all your aprons, but I’m biased ❤❤❤
I like the one on the bottom of the second pattern with the wide yoke. That's really cool.
Yes there are some really cool ones!
so much fun watching you work Ashley; very cool apron.
Thank you ❤️
That's lovely!
Looks great! Now if only I ever remembered to put on an apron! Lol
Takes some getting used to, but I think it has saved a lot of shirts
The embroidery on that table cloth is superb! Did your mom or grandma do that?
No, it is actually just a print. Not embroidery. I dont know if I would have the heart to cut it up if that was the case.
@@ashleymainmakes wow...looks 3d

I believe they are layered, yes. I just always send them out to be printed as is because I like like having all the sizes.
@@ashleymainmakes got it! Thank you for the speedy reply!
