I just recently found your channel and really love it. Your videos are so well-done, short and to the point. I’ve wondered if your were a teacher or trainer in a different career. Most striking is that as someone who is mostly new to watercolor, and who has recently done a lot of research and narrowed down a list of possible materials/equipment to buy, you have videos covering virtually all of it! I actually found you because I ordered the set of Dugato squirrel brushes, but a short time later saw the OOKU brush set and feared I had erred in buying the Dugato. I realized there must be an online review of the Dugato brushes somewhere, and lo and behold you had a video with both brush sets. Now, as for the apron - it caught my eye too. I love that color and the grommets and hooks. Yours looks quite pristine. Do you clean it at all, or does it just not get that dirty?
Hello. Thanks for the feedback. Yes....I am a public school teacher when not painting in my studio. I LOVE to teach and share what I know. :-) The Dugato and OOKU brushes are great choices. I've also come to love the Princeton line of watercolor brushes. I have other video reviews of those. I love the apron. I don't find it gets too dirty, though there are some paint specks on it. Have a great day and keep on painting!!
@@KrisDeBruineStudio Your teaching experience shows. You really know how to present the material clearly and concisely. I watch so many artist RUclips videos that it really stands out when there is one which is “clean” in presentation and to the point. Oh yes, I have watched several of your video reviews so far. The Aqua Elite and Neptune brushes were both ones I was looking at and I may take your advice and buy the 3 you recommended (the Neptune size 6 quill and two Aqua Elites, I think.) Thanks!
Thank you so much for the feedback. I really appreciate it. Yes. I love the Princeton brand of brushes -- they are high quality but also affordable. If you are interested in more of my teaching...I am putting out more content via my online studio at: studio.krisdebruine.com/ I have a free course that will be going live soon. Have a great day!!
Another great video thankyou! I have a question about your table you use, is it a adjustable height one? Or did someone really nice made it for you. I have back problems and sitting down to paint is only good for working in my sketch book or swatching paint. What is the height of your table? Help Love the apron and all its pockets and waterproof is the dream 😍 Heather
Yes. I love this table. I bought it used off Craigslist. It is 36" tall -- the same height as standard kitchen counters. This is the closest thing to it I could find on Amazon -- amzn.to/3ta34gR I love to paint standing up....so I wanted a tall table. So glad I found this one.
Hi everyone. Do you have an art apron that you love? If so, please share below in the comments.
Thanks for the apron tip! Very nice.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching and leaving feedback. I love this apron!!
I own that apron! I think I asked you where to get it about a year ago. I love it. Especially the color.
Haha. Yes. I remember. So many people asked me about it in the comments, I decided to do a video about it. I love mine. Hope you do too.
It's very practical.
I agree. Tons of pockets, adjustable size and quality construction make it super practical. Have a great day and thanks for the comment.
It comes in black and brown too! I've put the black one in my Amazon cart......need to wait for pay day!🤣
Wonderful. I hope you enjoy it.
Now I know where You got that cool apron, thanks
