Yay 😍 someone finally showed how to use the elastic in a different way instead of the shirring. I'm so happy I found your video and channel. Thank you thank you
I LOVE this dress!! It’s beautiful! I love how the fabric flows and drapes as well as the color. You did a great job on it. I also watched your video where you made the decorative corset. It really dresses it up!! It really took the dress to another level. You gave me ideas from this video. Thanks for sharing.
Very impressed with your make! I love how much I learned from you too. A lot of little techniques that I think will be very helpful in the future. And your attitude of trying something new and being okay if it doesn't work out exactly as expected was great. Seeing someone who is so talented but still willing to trying something new is inspirational. And I do appreciate that your nail polish matched the dress!
Thank you so much! I am glad you found it helpful! I think I was definitely more nonchalant on this one because I was on a time crunch, but thankfully it all worked out 😅 it is definitely one of my favorite dresses I have made.
I love this dress. The color was amazing and the style was beautiful. You looked amazing in it. I was laughing when you said the skirt was filling up the table.
I found your channel recently and you explain things really well, it’s so helpful. I am what you might call ‘newly plus size’ and I am sorta struggling to work out what fits and suits me and how to make that happen. Your clear explanations (and down-to-earth way about you!) is so helpful - thank you!!! 😊🙏 What I personally would like to see is more of this - what you do and how you do it to alter/re-pattern to fit you personally; what works, what doesn’t and why!!! 😁 Thank you so much. 💝
Wow thank you! You are really so sweet. I am glad it is helpful! Not to plug my own videos, but this one was almost a bit of a break from fitting honestly, I usually include a lot of it. Good ones to have a look at would be the bodice block video and the wrap dress video. I will definitely be including more fitting coming up!
@@ashleymainmakes I intended to work my way through all your videos! 😁 The fitting ones are very helpful too of course. 🤓 I forgot to say earlier thank you for showing the ‘faux shirring’ - that is genius and I will definitely be remembering that one! 😃XXX
What a gorgeous dress❣️ I’m just learning to sew garments and have mainly only sewed cushion covers, made Roman blinds, etc over the years.. But being plus size and not able to work anymore I really want to learn to sew clothes for myself… Thanks for the tutorial!
Love your orange linen dress & watching you twirl around at the park 💕 Now go make us some plus sized cottagecore stays! ✂️ 😉 Did you pick up that one pattern yet?…I am still waiting patiently for mine in the mail 🙏
I might have shot something else while I was at the park... 😏 just saying. I havent picked up that pattern yet no. I definitely should! I was hoping to find a us option.
Lovely dress and nicely made. It looks wonderful on you. I recently found some fabric at a thrift shop that I think would look nice in this type of dress. Thanks for the idea! New subscriber.
Back to binging all of your videos. I took a break to sew for myself (Chalk & Notch Fringe - have you tried this one?). Love your dress - SO twirly!! Great color and I appreciate the matching nail polish as you were sewing. Also laughing at the bloopers at the end.
What an exciting make! Thank you for making an abbreviated video that just highlights all the pertinent points of construction! Love this linen so much, and I love the shirring hack!
I LOVEE SEEING THE PROCESZ 😮
It came together beautifully ❤❤ well done
Thank you!

I am so glad it was helpful! I know I have so much left from making masks.

The dress came out beautifully!! You look great! And your fabric selection was A+!
Thank you! Yes I absolutely love this fabric
@@chlariepeace3093 you’re a horrible person. Just telling the truth
Thanks. Yes I got rid of their comment. No one needs to see that here.
Sew pretty, fun when it all comes together. Keep inspiring.
Thank you ❤️
Beautiful, nice colour!
Its so floaty! 🤩
Good job

Thank you so much! Yes it was a lot of skirt to wrangle but I do love the swoosh!

I haven't actually tried chalk & notch, I have heard good things though! I am glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you! I also love this linen, I am glad I waited to make something out of it
