Aloha 🌺 Susan from Kona! Finally got to fully experience my first live concert at the LA Greek 6/9th from the pit and it was transcendent! I absolutely have such deep respect for you, Derek and each precious member of the band ... the pure love you all send is so deeply healing. I brought a couple of special woven leis by a Hawaiian Aunty for you & Derek, but of course no way to get them to you ... can't even find a mailing address ... LOL ... love that you keep it simple! Am a boomer who was a huge Allman Brothers fan and wish money was no object as would go to as many live concerts that I could. As it was, I used up all my Hawaiian miles to make it affordable ... and it was sooo well worth it!!!! Wish you guys would add Hawai'i to your tours, but get maybe not practical for several reasons. Anyways, Geat Loving 💕💕💕 Alohas to you, Derek and each band human artist treasure! And will be up at 6am Hawaiian time for your youtube live special ... with a HUGE 🎊 congrats with your new 😍 BEAUTIFUL Fender Signature line!
My wife knew about Susan and I knew about Derek.....based on that and our mutual love of the Blues, we eventually got married in 2013. This album was my 1st exposure to Susan.....
I prefer this too her work with Tedeschi Trucks. It's just my opinion, but Just Won't Burn is/was incredible. I saw her open for Robert Cray back then and it was no contest, she just brought IT.
I personally feel the opposite. I’m 70ish and have been a fan of the TTB MORE than just Susan as a soloist. I went to a concert of theirs a couple yrs ago, and although I thought she was absolutely great with her 🎤 + 🎸, it was her, Derek, and ALL the band members that made it 🌟 awesome and pulled it all together imo 👏! *** I don’t even play the 🎸, but think Trucks is one badass slide player!

The first song I heard being played by Susan Tedeschi was "People" - and, right there, she became one of my favourite musicians. Congratulations to her for a great career, she's awesome! (And looking good doing it, to! 😜)

Love this song. I've been to Friars Point, and sat on the bench outside of the 'sacred store'! Great experience.
