I’ve been wanting to hear this Modulator for a good while now, so when I had an opportunity to come here to hear it, I took it fast. This Modulator was installed last year and is one of multiple Modulators that are being added to the city of Duncan. The others haven’t been installed yet but they’ll be installed eventually, not sure when though. If you don’t already know, this siren is also used as a lightning siren for this baseball/softball complex, which is why this Modulator does pulse steady for testing as well. The alert is surprisingly not the ‘tornado warning’ signal, it’s the ‘all clear’ signal, because Duncan decided to implement an all clear signal I guess.
This Modulator used to be programmed to do hi-lo instead of the custom pulse signal, but the company who works on Duncan’s system decided to change the ‘lightning warning’ signal so now it’s this custom pulse. This siren, along with all the other sirens in Duncan, is completely automated. This means that computer software is set on a timer to automatically activate the system once it hits noon. However, Duncan has their schedule set in a very interesting way. I’ll explain.
So this Modulator first did the chimes and voice at 11:55, which explains why the chimes was cut off in the beginning of the video. It caught me really off guard I’ll tell you. It then does a second voice at 11:59, and that’s also when the 2001’s at the lakes owned by Duncan are activated. At noon, is when sirens inside the city (along with this Modulator) are activated. I had a suspicion that it only does all of these signals on the 1st Monday of the month, so I decided to test out that theory, and I was right. Glad I caught all of that chaos though, lol.
When the Modulator cancels, you can hear all of Duncan’s 2001’s cancel as well, and it literally sounds chaotic.
I really do think this turned out well, so I hope you enjoy!
Outdoor warning sirens in Duncan are automatically tested every Monday @ 12PM, weather permitting.
This will be a LOUD test!
4:40, you can HEAR other sirens being tested too! Image you are taking a walk and you hear five sirens going off all around you. 💀
Gotta love dual tone Modulators. Great video!
You really do! Thanks
Hell yeah. What a test!
I’m very satisfied with what I caught 😂
@@brodiessirenproductions Same. I got to set the sirens off today
@@kansasclocksandsirens Sounds like we both had an adventure today then 🤣
@@brodiessirenproductions Shoot yeah we did!
That is incredible! I like that ambiance in the background. Also that tone and wind up and down tells me that the controls are UV but I am not 100% sure. Overall I rate this a 9 out of 10. Nice work, Brodie!
Yeah, the ambiance was creepier in person I’ll say. And you’re right, it does have a UV controller. Thanks for your feedback!
@@brodiessirenproductions You are very welcome!
i love the dual tone modulator Bs
Hey, BSP, did this siren only play an English message? Why did it play a Spanish message?
it plays Spanish for Spanish residents obviously except some hollow heads don't know why
Finally
A modulator with an actual attack tone instead of wail
Why does this siren also have a Spanish voice message? I thought it only had an English voice message.
Can you find out when Marlow, Oklahoma does their siren test and record the siren on North Railroad Street between Cherokee Street and East Arapahoe Avenue in Marlow, Oklahoma?
Sorry I’m late to this, but Marlow does not test their siren system on a schedule as far as I’m aware. If I find anything else out, I may head there sometime.
Your drone skills are amazing!! Mine kinda suck lol
Mine could be better lol, but thanks anyways!
Nice! Love the custom attack tone!
Yeah, I do too. It’s pretty unique
They should have tried alternate wail.
Très beaux Modulator 2008 manque les lumières clignotantes rouge ou bleu pour annoncer le fonctionnement de la sirène
There is a yellow amber light that flashes during the siren test. Wish I would’ve caught that on video.
Wow wild!!! Didn’t they have SD-10s before
Duncan’s original system consisted of Banshee’s, 2T22’s, and T-112’s
Personally that’s a better system than this that’s just me… they could have kept the t-112s and made them t-121s
I love that test message!
This is great! Well done!
Extremely common Duncan Oklahoma W
This located at Abe and Jess sports complex?
Yes it is! My apologies for the late response.
