This video is just what I was looking for. Thank you!
When will we see the Iridium updated with USB-C?
When are you guys will release a bass iridium? 👀❤️
Thks for doing this kind of tutorial video! This will increase the number or strymon user 😊
Is this feature for being able to use Iridium as a power amp/cab sim?
Yup, for when you want no preamp processing. So you can just it just for the impulse responses.
Any tone differences on the latest firmware updates?
No - all of the updates have been to address workflow or technical issues. Technically, you can now turn the amp on Iridium off per patch, so that would affect the tone a bunch, but the amps all sound the same when they're actually turned on :-)
Is possible to bypass amp section with midi CC?
It is indeed - send an email to support@strymon.net and they'll get you straightened out. It's a feature that was added somewhat recently.
Thanks
How can I bypass ROOM though? That thing kinda sucks.
Considering that the ambience on Iridium is hybrid, meaning that the initial first reflections come from an IR and the sustain is from traditional algorithmic reverb (meaning that it's quite accurate), my guess is that you'd rather have more or less reverb time or size? There are three different Rooms - Small, Medium and Large, so maybe try another one? Most people seem to dig it once they've gotten the size that they like set up. Hope that helps!
