When you spoke these words...Sometimes God allows us to stay in a situation so that He could work a work...it brought to my mind my suffering with an illness for over 30 years. Being in excruciating pain whenever I ate or drank anything. Sick unto death. The doctors sending me home on a machine to die because as I was told there was nothing else they could do for me. And I remember when I was first diagnosed asking God...Why me? I was a law abiding citizen, working mom of three children, providing for my household. And He answered, “ why not you”. Weighing about 60 lbs and on a machine at home. My children hooking me up at night and taking me off in the morning. One day my sister went into my kitchen ( and how she came to live with me is another testimony) and promised the Lord...if you raise my sister, I’ll serve you for the rest of my life.” Before this my sister had no desire to save the Lord....but sometimes...”God allows us to stay in a situation so that He could work a work”...thank you Jesus for choosing me to bring my sister to You!

I’m still shuddering with joy. I taught the Adult Class this morning. When we arrived at Acts 9:41, (“And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.”), the Holy Ghost suddenly stopped me and in an instant showed me this is the way we 1. Invite the dead to life (Salvation) ...extend the right hand of fellowship 2. Bring the newly saved to higher ground...lifted her up and 3. Announce and PRESENT the newly saved to the saints! OMG! This made the WHOLE LESSON EXPLODE! Bam! Ahhhhhhhhhh! Shondo!

As I consider the book of ACTs, Peter the Apostle and Dorcas... I consider the title both in the traditional sense - active and consistent in service; however, I think of those who "full of faith"...they are on the overflow for many have been blessed through them. How do we apply the lesson in our lives... showing "deep" love for each other. Our God has graciously given us all things pertaining to life and godliness; He has given us power over all the power of the enemy; He has given us spiritual gifts, He has given us Holy Spirit and so much more.... God uses people...we are a conduit. Many times for healing to manifest -- someone prays, confesses, proclaims the Word of God. Tabitha would have went on to glory; except a Believer....came along .... prayed and spoke to her body and that body responded to the Word. Life and death is in the power of the tongue. Peter - full of faith, walking in the love of God.... oh Lord, help us walk in Your Love, grace and mercy... and bring those good and perfect gifts back... undie them. :-)) We can do all things through Christ. Miracles... the working of miracles is one of the gifts. Thank God, He is our Source, our only Source of Life, Power and Godly Wisdom. In Him we experience miracles... well, I receive miracles periodically and daily...my eyes and body is possibly functioning miraculously... for the doctor gives diagnosis, yet, I live according to God's Word -- and, His Word is life.... it is health. And, I believe my car takes me from a to b miraculously -- for all kinds of lights come on the dashboard... and it has not been serviced in years. Hallelujah!!! I am grateful. You know, when the children of Israel came out of Egypt, their clothes, and shoes did not wear out; Hallelujah! My things last longer than normally would. I can go on and on about the goodness of the Lord. Thank you for sharing the story of the mountain-experience. That was not coincidence.... you were in a God-appointment. Praise the Lord!!! Hear what the Spirit is saying. God is doing something more with you... more than you realize.
Like the piece on "tanner" and Jesus fulfilled the law; and we are to continue to live out the law of Love. Wow, you gave so many good nuggets... thank you for giving us as much as you do. :-)) Blessings upon you, in you and through you in Jesus name. Thank you. Thank You Lord!
