This lesson is another beautiful one, John from last week's lesson is still alive, He sees a life changing vision while he and the church is being persecuted. Sometimes while we are being persecuted, the Lord gives us a task to do rather then pull us out. Lord you Will be done in my life!

Hallelujah! Brother Elder Jones I hear you. And yet, I am going to walk out on faith as Peter walked on the water, and as Isaiah's lips was touched with coal by the angel. What John experienced was more than a regular vision. The sounds, and experiences John describes reminds me of what the Saints such as I mentioned and even many of the testimonies I hear today; besides a personal experience of my own. To describe it I would say it was more like virtual reality and more like illustrated in the movie, the Matrix...and so many more. There is tremendous power, authority, beauty, splendor and victory displayed... and I join the angels and cry Holy, Holy, Holy to our Father, The Lord God Almighty, our Savior, King of kings and Lord of lords, our Comforter, and I worship His Majesty. Would you say, the 24 elders are around the throne today? Thank you for another dynamic teaching in the spirit of excellence. God bless you. If you are in our part of the world our Sunday School is normally at 9:00am @ Trinity Missionary Baptist Church 3950 Paine Circle, Honolulu, Hawaii. The only other thing I will step out to mention is...praise the Lord, the song and Word, 12 gates to the city, 24 elders in the city...there will b a new Heaven, a new Earth and a new Jerusalem... when I think of Enoch, Job, Elijah, and Abraham... the explanation of the 12 apostles and 12 elders of the tribes... I have a heavenly hesitation to go along with that. Thank God for all the scholars...love them...God bless them. This Life with the Lord is soooo wonderful, for we are ever learning and we are many members... we speak in part and prophesy in part...and as Holy Spirit helps us, He leads and guides us into all Truth....Hallelujah! Glory to glory to glory to glory to glory to glory to God, Bless the wonderful name of Jesus. There is so much... thank you.
Blessings to you and yours. What a Great and Mighty God we serve today, Yes I wish I could have seen the vision that John was actually in the presence of (in the spirit). John saw WORSHIP at its Best. everything, everyone in Heaven Worships God! If the people here on Earth could just realize that there is so much when we are in the very presence of the Lord, through and in Worship. Moses says. Show me your Glory! one day I pray I'd love to be in Hawaii! This is another great lesson that we should not just read and study but put it into Action.
Beautiful lesson. One truly need a correct interpretation for understanding Revelation. This lesson has help me to outline Chapter 4 - as John write 1) the heavenly sight (or scene) he saw (vs. 1-7) and 2) the heavenly songs he saw and heard (vs. 8-11). One must understand true worship and who that worship should be given to....The Lord God Almighty.... along is worthy of all our praises.

I was trying to find scripture where John was called to be an Apostle. I was directed to Mark 3:14 so was the 12 named here ordained to be Apostles here? If I’m no t mistaken an Apostle is one who is sent on a mission and given authority by the sender.
With our perception of John being alone on the Isle of Patmos, according to scriptures, Rev. 1:11, 19, John was instructed by Jesus to write in a book (a scroll) what he hast seen (saw) Rev. 1, the things which are (what was now) Rev. 2-3 (the churches), and the things that shall be hereafter (what would come later) Rev. 4 thru 21, and send it to the seven churches that was in Asia Minor. In knowing this information, some of the OT scrolls were either lost, destroy or burn. To send these letters to the seven churches is a mystery of God and no one knows how these churches received John’s letter, Rev. 1:20. It is very important for one to understand the symbolism (or terminology) in these scriptures. For example, Rev 1:20, take the word, “mystery” meaning this is an unknow event; the seven stars are the angels (the pastor or leader) of these seven churches. So, how did these seven churches receive John’s writing, I would agree with Elder Jones, that the scriptures do not say or tell us and only God knows the true answer. Note, this is the first of 12 instructions in this book for John to write what he hast seen (saw), the things which are, and the things that shall be hereafter and these instructions seems related to each preceding vision of John (cf. 1:19; 2:1, 8, 12, 18; 3:1, 7, 14; 14:13; 19:9; 21:5). One vision, however, was not to be recorded (10:4).
In the lesson the 24 throws their crown at the throne so it is a possibility, because He is Worthy to receive all honor and Glory. Crowns are Glory as well so if they be true when they take off their crown ( Glory) they can it at the throne
Elder Jones did mention is this week lesson, The New Testament say that crowns are and will be given to believers who are faithful in their labor of service to Jesus. Some of the many crowns named in the Bible for faithful believers to look up and read, can be found in (1 Cor. 9:24-25) The Incorruptible Crown, (1 Thess. 2:19) The Crown of Rejoicing, (2 Tim. 4:8) The Crown of Righteousness, (1 Peter 5:4) The Crown of Glory, (James 1:12; Rev. 2:10) The Crown of Life, (Rev. 3:11) your crown. There are also some rewards mentioned in Matthew 5:12 (a great reward in heaven), 1 Corinthians 3:14 (reward for work that survives a refining fire), and Revelation 22:12 (repayment for one’s work). The only mention of Jesus wearing or having many crown is recorded in the Book of Revelation, and these many crowns He is wearing do symbolizes His power, authority, kingship, and royalty which are and have been given to Him by God, whereas, Jesus is “King of Kings and Lord of Lords” Rev. 19:16. The term “crown” is a Greek term - diadēmas, meaning - royal crowns - Rev. 12:3; 19:12. The scriptures found in Rev. 19:1-21 are known as the climax scriptures of the Book of Revelation and this is where our reading begin to understanding The Advent of Jesus Christ (His Second Coming) to earth. Jesus returns to earth with his heavenly armies is to execute judgment on his enemies, and to establish his kingdom (Matt. 24:29-31). So, I would think, Jesus is wearing these many crowns as to symbolize (represent or indicate) He has a crown for every nation and everyone in this world since Jesus have and is in full of authority (charge) to do as whatever He please, as well as being unlimited. To share some insight to your question regarding giving back one crown earn, I absolutely believe we should give our reward up to Jesus Christ, who is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and He is the only one worthy to wear a physical crown (as we know it to look like). I believe the crowns that faithful believers will be wearing is not a physical crown, and this crown will be different from Jesus’ crown, maybe like a laurel wreath, and this laurel wreath is a symbolic of faithful believer’s rewards earn (Lovelady101 and not biblical). As for me, as I earn my crown here on earth, I want the heavenly doors to open and welcome me in with Jesus saying, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord” Matt. 25:21, then I will bow down and truly worship my Lord and Savior for all He has done for me. It would make perfectly good sense for faithful believer to immediately fall at His feet and offer back to Christ every bit of glory we have received with the understanding that such a gift is nothing compared with His great gift of salvation and His absolute worthiness of all praise.
To me you sound like a (true worshiper) who wants to see the Lord Jesus in all His Glory and slender! One of my favorite songs is ( oh I want to see Him, look upon His Face). Also the word for crown may be stephonas which means reward. Which is also in the field of Glory, so they were given a reward ( crown) and then they cast their reward or Glory upon the Lord for Her is worthy of all Glory
I didn’t listen to you teaching as of yet as I like to get a little insight first. So, if you answer the question I’m about to write plz ignore and I’ll hear your response when I listen to your teachings. Is there a reason that the stones on the breastplate of the high priest were not arranged in order of eldest to youngest?
I think the stones are arranged in the order of the eldest to youngest. Here is why, The problem I have found in my reading… is almost every time the twelve tribes are listed, they are listed or given in a different order, you can compare the scriptures found in (Gen. 49; Num. 2; Deut. 33; Rev. 7) to see what you find and this will make you wonder, too, about how the stones were placed on the High Priest Breastplate. Even so, there are or have been various views as to the order of the names of twelve tribes on the stones. I would think that each one of the names that are written on the stones do signified each one to be from the twelve tribes, and seemingly in the order of their births. The person who would hold the Office of the High Priest of Israel would be selected or chosen based on their inheritance (pass down to him) and this was considered as a lifelong position (‘till death). The age of eligibility for High Priest in the Bible, says this person had to be at least twenty years old to be chosen or consider as a High Priest (2Chronicles 31:17). Exodus 28:17-21, records and give us the order and names written on the stones. I also think this would be the utmost sound order for us to assume for the twelve names written on the stones for the High Priest Breastplate, and I have found this to be true in most of the studies, I have read.
Ladylove according to 4:3 jasper is listed first representing the last son Benjamin and sardine which is mentioned next represents the eldest son, Reuben. This next comment is just Karen101 and not Biblical but it reminds me of Matthew 29:16 So the last will be first and the first will be last....

Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,
John was on the Isle of Patmos alone so how did the seven churches receive his writings ?
That's a very great question, the scriptures doesn't mention this to my understanding. I don't want to go with tradition.
