I love this message SO much! God is so intelligent. I’m so glad he heard the cries of His people, even when we fail Him. The Lord sought to teach the Israelites how to replenish and rebuild their lives again before, during and after their exile. I’m excited for his message because it teaches us how to rest in Christ and how to use wisdom in all areas under the direction of the Lord.
Beautiful lesson and well taught. Christians must understand that God has to be first. He is the creator and maker of everything. Without Him we could do nothing. We should remember what God's has done for you and recognize his position in our lives. He commanded the Israelites to rest -this is a wonderful, loving, gracious considerate command. We all need to rest. Many of us don't realize how important getting rest is to the body. Remember what God has done for you makes you humble and thankful. God is responsible for everything we have.
I couldn't agree with you more, rest is a much needed experience and blessing to be able to have and enjoy. Everything needs rest, including the things we use daily. God is so awesome and precise.
Thank you for another great teaching of another beautiful lesson. My job is my resource but GOD is my source, Amen. I have personally experience and thought back how God stepped in and took over without me lifting a finger, how great he is.
My job is my resource but God is my Source. This week lesson was another beautiful lesson and well taught. A call for believers today to “trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths,” Pr. 3:5-6. OMG…Yes, Lordy…you got my attention...whereas, you touch on a touchy subject, but I heard you and I was listening to you, too...lol…opening up that can of worms…here’s the scripture passages…Between six years of tithing…“At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates: And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest” Deut. 14:28-29 (KJV). By the way, love your suit…look very nice Elder Jones…and may our Lord continue bless and keep you.
😁😁!!! Thank you I just got it from church! Awesome sauce in the scriptures, yes so many are afraid of losing the tithe so we keep certain scriptures hidden. Tell the people the truth so we all can be blessed! Oh come on somebody!
In the Adult Class today, we discovered and emphasized that the Jubilee only comes after you “do that work”! Seven times seven plus one! We also took our example of the Lord working six days and resting one ...NOT the opposite; resting six days and working one! 👏🏽
Aloha Elder Jones, thank you for another enriching lesson. First, I want to touch on Jacob. If Jacob would have understood the blessing; if he could have believed the Lord and not let his past be an obstacle -- he did not have to get his hip limp. And yet, so many of us think like Jacob, God's goodness is so good; it is hard to simply receive it. We want to work for it and even wrestle for it. God is so good and gracious towards us, many of us are a stiff-necked people and still we are daily loaded with benefits. You touch upon so much in this session, I appreciate you reminding us of the tithe to take care of the Levites, who would have no land. This title makes me want to leap and dance...Remembering With Joy. And as you began to dig in...Hallelujah! God be glorified. This is sooo good. lol ham hocks and fatback... umm umm... yeah, you should not have said that, it took me to collard greens, cornbread and black-eyed peas, umm umm. Okay, I got to rewind. :-))Okay, a shout of joy! My job is a resource, God is my Source. Hallelujah! Thank you... God bless you.
You just brought forth a very powerful statement and message that needs to be both taught and preached! Concerning Jacob! Wow! I love it ( not sure why my phone typed I love you)
Thank you so very much for your continuous educational, enriching, and informative lessons. The work and effort put into your preparations is evident. The lessons add understanding, clarification and enrichment to my knowledge of the Word. May the Lord always bless you with the fortitude to carry on in all areas of your ministries. I would like to add some good Bible reference books to my library. Will you please suggest some good reference books/materials? Thank you and God bless.
Blessings to you and I really enjoyed reading your reply, it brought joy to my heart. I spend hours in prayer, searching, researching, studying etc and then production. But ready your reply, it's worth it all. 1. Hebrew Greek Keyword Study Bible is an awesome tool to have. 2. Strongs concordance to go with it is also great. 3. AMG'S Annotated Strong's Dictionary which is the companion to the Strong's is powerful. This is just for starters. If I don't forget, I may bring this up in the next video.
