Maybe my favorite climber. Love his style, and the fact that when he talks about a climb, he talks less about the grade or how many sessions it took him and more about the beauty of the climb. Nothing against how others describe a climb, it's just refreshing to hear something different. Folks should check the video where Niky goes to Yorkshire and the one where he travels the US, called Random US boulders.
A great short-doc highlighting the beauty of Northumberland and it's incredible climbing. I genuinely think (none bias opinion) that the best lines in Northumberland compete with the best lines anywhere in the WORLD!
Luckily still some people like Niky that can still find a deeper amd super respectful meaning in bouldering connecting with nature and energy of the place. It's what brought me to bouldering more than 25 years ago. Miles away from most the actual scene made of numbers, performance, music in the forest and cmon dude style stuff...
While remaining agnostic to the opinion, I would say that it is quite a bold claim that "only Nalle & Varian have pushed the boundaries" as is described here, nevetheless it's an interesting one
Dan truly deserves the recognition! Beautiful video!
wonderful film captures the county's specialness
This is amongst the best. Incredible film.
Nice calm video. Thanks🙏
I was thinking the cinematography and structure was brilliant then saw directed, shot and edited by Sam Lawson and it all made sense! Great film.
fantastic video with a beautiful respect and understanding of what makes bouldering here so special. Well played!

Yes indeed. Imagining a heinous sequence could be possible might just be more of a buzz than climbing it. Mr Varian deserves more recognition.
Another stunning video. 👍
