Yo man I gotta say you farms have actually helped my hardcore world a lot since I'm not good enough to build those huge farms other youtubers have. So thank you
For people whose farms have stopped working; a fix I found was to get rid of the boat and replace the top trapdoors with trapdoors on the floor and naming the zombie so it doesn’t despawn. The pathing has issues with every other fix I previously tried but this hasn’t broken yet. Also light up the room with a torch to prevent mobs from spawning
Took me experimenting, when you unload the chunk the Villigers aren't woken up by the zombie anymore so till break the farm. Not a big issue at all just whenever you want to use the farm wait till night close the trap doors let them sleep then have them woken up by the zombie again.
@@altddre8410a chunk loader is a machine that keeps a chunk running even if you are not close to it. the game unloads chunks that are not close to the player, this means anything that it too far from the player will stop being processed by the game. in this case, the farm breaks when it is unloaded because the zombies and villagers won't be processed anymore, causing the cycle of sleeping and panicking to be broken. I suggest you watch another video on what a chunk loader is to better understand.

Now it straight up doesn't work. I checked caves under the farm, spawnproofed the area, made sure the villagers got sleep; nothing. It was working before but now it doesn't!
at the start it didnt wok for me but you have to make sure that the villagers have slept in the bed and are woken up by the zombie (raise the trapdoors) and it should work after that.
So turns out apparently I somehow lost a villager, which turned off the farm because it wasn't technically a village anymore. I dont know how this even happens, but if it does, just replace the villager with a new one, then it will work once they sleep.
@@nathan_skipperthey have to woken up by the zombie? So do i need to open the trap doors while they are sleeping? I built this in bedrock and its not working

1. Could've spawned in a nearby cave. 2. Could've spawned outside the farm and went away. 3. Villagers need to sleep every 20 minutes to be able to summon golems.
@stein8638 helpful! Did not know the sleep bit, also dug it near the base and sometimes spawned in our enchanting room which was outside the 6x6 but the ceiling was the 6th block.

This worked great for me- for a little bit. It stopped working suddenly and I’ve been trying to figure out what happened, does anyone know why or how I can fix it 😭
I haven't worked with hoppers before, and looking at the wiki page for them didn't really answer my question. The ingots go into the hopper(s), and they're just staying there. Will they move stuff into the chest once they're full? Also, thanks for the effective and short video. My Iron! farm is working like a charm
Followed this to the T, plus some other experiments and added an extra villager. Zombie keeps dying and when they don't, no golems spawn. any suggestions?
Sometimes the iron golem spawns OUTSIDE the walls and therefore wont go to die in the lava. It's only a small chance that it will happen but it happens, and that's why you don't wanna go AFK for too long because he will just roam around and no other iron golem will spawn as long as he's alive. Other than that, decent farm.
The villagers eventually get infected and I dont know why. I built it just how you showed. I name tagged the villagers and that's how I found out, because they were despawning and I realized that the zombie in the boat was infecting them and once they're not villagers anymore, they despawn eventually if they are not name tagged. Another issue is it will stop working and you have to load the world again or wait till night time so that it "resets"
I followed this tutorial exactly, but since i unthinkingly built it a little too close to a village im at, sometimes an iron golem would wander onto the path barrier and prevent the villagers from summoning a new one. to prevent this, i built a wall just outside the path barrier and kept it behind an iron door so it would only be accessible to me. this seemed to work at first, but a problem i keep running into is that i will come back to retrieve iron, only to find that one of the three villagers is gone, and the other two are out of their beds! I have no idea how its happening, because there's no zombie villager down there- just a regular zombie and two normal villagers. the third villager is just inexplicably gone. Anyone have any ideas?
The paths are only there to make sure no golems spawn outside the farm. So if you're building it in an island that only encompasses the farm, you're fine.
