Marcus goes in depth as to the effects of explosive breaching and the effects of being combat warfighter has on the brain. We then cover how single treatment of psychedelic assisted therapy would not only save his life, but bring his family back together after almost losing them due to mild traumatic brain damage.

It always amazes me how SEALs who operate at the highest level under the toughest conditions remain so humble and real. This should be an example for so many everyday regular pricks who think the world revolves around them and treat their fellow men as garbage. Hats off to all the great warriors who keep the world safe.

SF is all about the mission and doing your job so that your buddies can get home so humility and selflessness are traits that all operators share. These men represent the best America 🇺🇸 has to offer both physically and mentally. I also hope that all these men that have fought for the freedom that most woke Americans take for granted get the physical and mental health they need to feel whole again.

Its one thing to have a conversation with someone who is just an average Joe, and something else entirely when you are speaking with someone who can deeply relate to what you are expressing.
I know this first hand form dealing with mental health issues. You can tell who knows first hand what you are talking about and who doesn't. You can feel it, and its much easier to talk with someone who gets it. I imagine its very similar for these guys as well. Just getting started, but had to comment this. Shawn, you opened up complimenting Marcus on the respect him and his wife have towards each other and mentioning how they don't talk over each other. That is your best quality and why I enjoy your podcast so much. So many times, the "interviewer" butts in, interrupts, tries to make everything about themselves, or they seem to try to keep the attention on themselves, instead of the guest. You do an amazing job at letting the guest, be the guest. I don't think I've ever heard you cut someone off, or interrupt them. So you deserve a compliment as well.

This is one of the greatest stories/outcome I have ever heard! The shit show both of these strong people have endured is beyond remarkable. I was in the military for three years and all I wanted to do to do was to go to war, by the grace of God that never happened. Too many times in life and marriage especially things go horrifically bad and when that happens one of the two usually end up late leaving. I can’t believe the fortitude, the willingness, the heart and the kindness this lady portrayed. I am thrilled beyond words that he got to help through psychedelics! I’m so happy these two finally have a relationship that is solid. I haven’t cried in a long time and listening to her story tore me apart . When she said her son called her and was afraid to open any doors that his home really hard for me. People always romanticize the seal teams in which they should but there’s often other things that happen cause it’s inevitable. I’m so grateful he got the help that he needed, I don’t just wanna say thank you for your service because when people say that they have no idea what you’ve been through and I think it’s just become a punchline that people don’t necessarily mean that. I want to thank you for putting your life on the line to save Americans. Although I never made it to war, I was willing to go it’s been a big regret of mine for about 50 years until I watched this program Sean . Thank you for the program. It really helped with some demons that I have. I truly enjoy your show and I tell everybody about it. The show in particular has changed me in ways. I don’t even know yet I just know it did. Thank all of you for your brutal honesty, your kindness, your love, and more importantly, showing that if you don’t quit some good things can come of it. Chris.

This was fantastic to see. I can personally attest to the effectiveness of this type of treatment. I had a very violent and traumatic childhood with my father serving on Dallas Police Force being shot and killed and mom marrying someone who was violent only to me. I followed a very dark path. I had many "therapy sessions" and I always found myself diving deep into my myself and slowly pulling out all the demons. The one night at a place called Enchanted Rock, which is an extremely spiritual place, I had what I call my final release. I literally came down off that mountain told everyone that I was a new person and moved 2134 miles away to a place I had never been. I never went back to my home town and I have had an incredible journey to where I am today. I support this 100% and will be looking into the links below. Protecting what nation? We're an economic zone with a few national symbols allowed to be attached to it. Protecting the globalist Regime on the Potomac? Protecting woke politics and forever wars that have nothing to do with our, the American people's, interests? Yeah, no thanks. These guys are brave as hell, there is no denying that. Brave and very competent in what they do. But their political education needs to be upped. We are in the midst of a cultural war that has done much to undermine and destroy America. They were busy slaughtering a few goatherds in Central Asia and a rag-tag army in Mesopotamia while the real war was raging here at home. Americans have to stop this weird adulation for their military. This is a military that, at the drop of a hat, if ordered to shoot American patriots protesting about the diminution of their rights, would happily open up on them--men, women, and children--until "the threat was NEUTRALIZED!!" It is a depressing fact.

I watch everyone of your interviews, but I shared this podcast with my wife who works in pediatric neurology. She thought this was so fascinating that she is sharing it with her neurologist co-workers. She was constantly shaking her head in agreement when you spoke of the “big pharma” issues. Just thought you might wanted to know how your interviews are spreading in more ways than you may realize.

      Interesting you say this.
I think "big pharma" done goofed with the oxycotton crisis. It seems like people are not as trusting of them as before.
To me they got greedy and it came back to haunt them.

My wife is a psychologist, studies neurobiology, and suffers from PTSD. I've been following the research and peer reviewed studies for few years now. It's pretty amazing stuff. They're doing a ton of great work with it in Boulder CO. I'm proud of my state for legalizing some psychedelic assisted therapy in our state. Hopefully with Colorado and Oregon becoming open to these practices, it will help expedite the legalization of these treatments on a national level. Not to take away from how badly vets need this treatment available to them... But a ton of people are suffering needlessly, just so big pharma can make money.

I was a tanker/19k in the Army. Got hit by multiple IEDs and have TBI. For a while I couldn't find the words I needed, forget where I'm at and had other strange things associated with a TBI. After a couple psychedelic journeys it seemed to all go away or become MUCH better.
If you're hurting from a TBI, try to find some psychedelic help! They can reopen/connect neural pathways in your brain that were jossled loose from explosions etc.

This podcast has drawn me in so deep and is so helpful. I’ve struggled with the hardest few years of my life. I’m in no way trying to make my life sound like it’s been as extreme as you or you’re guests but I know how this fight feels. I’m a federal Agent and my profession and my own chronic autoimmune disease had put me in a place that was similar. I found Wim Hof method (breathing, meditation, and ice baths) as well as carnivore diet and it changed my life for the better. Still healing but back about 80%. This podcast I found 1 week ago and it’s been extremely motivating and pushing me but most importantly not afraid anymore mentally on the job. It’s helping me pull my head out of my ass and square myself away, I don’t know what it is about this podcast but it’s re lit the fire I lost and haven’t felt in 3 years. Thank you so much!
