And I’m happy that Dino was the winner of the public choice. He is such an old soul in young man’s body and I think he will do great things. He was the youngest with the least experience and ended up 3rd and could possibly have won this competition by public vote, since his mom said this challenge would have been his thing! So we’ll done Dino, I obviously voted for you 😊
As for Dalia's painting: You just told them that the painting should evoke an emotion... Well, sadness is an emotion too. You didn't tell them it had to be a 'good' emotion... 🙃
I thought it was fun to see a whole family of artists and friends compete with each other. I've see all the season and this one was my favorite one. I'm just sorry I had to see someone get voted off. Milano family is very talented and I look forward to seeing them all grow in their artwork. Ellie is the matriarch and should be so proud of her children. They are all kind and considerate people. I enjoyed watching Dino's evolution and am floored as to how wise he can be at such a young age. He abstract work is stunning (I know that he likes oil and realism). The abstract sketch of Dimtra and the dog, was really good.
The difference in results between Art Club and now just proves that art is subjective! I really believe that a big part of the reason the paintings in this final challenge were disappointing was because they were given so little time to create a source. That is such an important part of creating a painting - to come up with a really good composition. I don't think that giving them such a short time for a source was in any way necessary, or would lead to the kind of painting they were expecting. I, too, was very disappointed that neither of these paintings spoke to the theme or instructions very well. I also don't think that the instructions have ever really been made clear. They are mostly only spoke once, and fairly casually, which impacts comprehension. I think that they could speak the instructions once, then go over them, numbering them... "So here are the 3 outcomes you need to achieve in this painting... Number 1...", etc. I thought Dalia's was better executed overall in terms of composition. Dafni's horse was too small, and the "chaos" on the right was way too chaotic for my taste. I agree with both Elli and Dimitra that if the horse was running to the "light" there needed to be some evidence of "light." When I first saw Dafni creating her source I had high hopes, but I felt that as she continued creating the source things got too crazy and muddled. I did not like Dalia's source, or the facial expression of the subject, but I do thing that it was well executed. Disappointing final. I suspect, as Elli did, that Dino would have possibly done this challenge the best. I'm sorry that all three of them weren't doing this one!
Love ❤️ seeing the whole family compete in their individual styles all titans in their own right 🎉 all the generational talent and creativity in one show is bONKERs. 🎉
Oh, and, I also want to give credit to the camera men for the way they do these videos. It’s a huge job to produce 2 hour videos and a big accomplishment that they keep your attention and excitement right through, even making you shocked that time went by so fast. So we’ll done to Jake and the other guys involved 👏👏🌟🤩
I can't thank you all enough for the content you create. You've given me vision and am creating much better work, and all those things that I didn't get or understand are completely clear now. Thank You.
While both paintings are good, I am not a fan of floating horses, it makes me uneasy to see it ungrounded. Dalia gets my vote with the beautiful painting she created, I just love everything about it❤
Art Critique: Take with a grain of salt, this is hard to do accurately when not in person! I felt the transparency most in Dahlia’s painting, at least the beginning of the process of creating transparency. Seeing lace like a veil draped around the woman’s head, or some kind of sheer fabric etc, a window or even bubbles would have been more visual of transparency. I think Dalia’s can stand close to a finished portrait though I think it is missing texture as well. In evoking emotion, Dalia’s painting is pensive, do I feel sad, do I feel lost, do I feel strong love, it is something you are searching to discover because you know she is feeling deeply. There are elements of her face that still feel off as far as proportion but it’s possible that someone looks like that, like when Rodin began making sculptures of people as they are, not idealized. I think it makes it easier to relate that she’s not perfect. I didn’t get transparency at all in Daphni’s painting - and as she said, she didn’t even realize that was part of the direction and added white as an afterthought which was how it felt. It feels like it is still in progress. I also feel like if the horse felt like it was running out of the tunnel towards the light instead of across the “tunnel” it might feel more cohesive, the angle is just so odd. I know that side view is easier to paint proportion-wise, 3/4 view is always more difficult. And as far as emotion, Daphni’s painting … is confusing … what am I supposed to feel? I look to the right and want to think the painting is representing joy with bright color and texture and movement, and then realize there’s something like a tunnel with maybe something hidden back there, so do I feel scared? But it’s lavender-unicorn-purple, so maybe not? Oh did the unicorn lose its horn, so I AM supposed to be afraid, he’s confused and that’s why the angle? And where’d the horse come from, and is he frightened or happily galloping? The horse has no direction, and the whole thing ends up uncomfortable to look at, even though it is rendered so well. I can’t land on an emotion, so my mind won’t stay. My vote is for Dalia … can’t wait to learn who won! And I agree with another comment, I think the top three should have competed if for nothing else than variety. Both girls have an abstract style, Dalia’s is more airy and Daphni’s is more condensed but Dino clearly admires the old masters and his take on the parameters of this challenge would have been engaging to watch! I know you are proud parents, John and Ellie!
Wonderful family . Love the experience My vote is for Daphne . I can feel what she was going for. ❤ Not that Dalia wasn't good , it was emotional, just missed transparency. I feel. Granddaughter and I just love the show🎉
I really love this season, it was more raw than the rest but showing that vulnerability makes it very special to me. Reality shows are like that, messy, show the behind the scenes, how the contestants are feeling, etc. AND DEFINITIVELY, if you create more of these shows, I want more process and painting session, I feel season 3 lack a lot of that.
If Dahni would of painted the horse much larger it would have more impact. To me I found a huge amount of feeling in Dalia's woman's face and that was the objective of the competition.
Hmmm...well both paintings are fine, but neither of them are "outstanding". It's unfortunate that Dino was not painting in this round, as I think he would have smoked both of his sisters in this particular challenge. Dino was my favorite contestant, as he had a great attitude, was funny, a good teacher and interesting to watch paint. Hopefully the Art Club and Milan Art will feature Dino more often in their course offerings.
Although both paintings leave me feeling underwhelmed, I voted for Dalia, as her painting feels dreamy, sad, introspective, and complete. Dafni’s painting feels like a fairytale, and incomplete. The horse is also way too small - escaping from a happy, chaotic space, into nothingness and weightlessness.
Even though it’s amazing how much you guys accomplish in a short time with a painting, I think if you wanted to end this show with a masterpiece, a bit more time would have done that. They barely had time to interpret such a complicated theme…
I love Dalias painting more because human faces speak to me a lot more, although I loved the abstract part of Dafni's and how she incorporated John-like style into the horse...the tiny abstractions that were so playful.
Awe I'm sad that Dino left, it made me actually tear up and cry! xx I love his attitude and he is deserving of the win. I'm commenting as I am watching and getting frustrated at Dafini as to why her horse is too small for her canvas and the source and is smack in the middle, And Dalia is getting too negative for her own good here on the halfway mark. ok so I've finished watching now and I am not surprised that Dino won the people's choice and he should've won and he would've done better at the finale than the results we saw, like Elli and Dimitra said it wasn't impactful enough for a wow result. Dafni's horse should've been bigger and going into the light then it would've been a clear winner.
I would love to see all the artist do one more final painting, all without looking at each others again, for fun. No painting to be a winner as such, just everyone in turn give a critique to each others painting. Maybe I don’t seem to want it to end! I have learnt so much, Just one more please ! 🙏🏼❤️
oh my, I think they are both very beautiful, for different reasons. Dahlia's draws my thoughts to introspection, dreaming away, thinking in your own bubble. In Daphne's painting I have a sensation of a horse on a merry-go-round, freeing itself and jumping into the uncertain future, a very recognizable emotion for me. But Dahlia's is also very recognizable... so I can't choose 🤗
I liked both the paintings but Dalia's was dreamy and beautiful she was covered with light and her body fading into the background felt transparent to me. Sometimes the heartstrings are dark maybe that is why the reviewers felt it was sad but I really didn't see sadness. I love the way Dalia works through her process. it is really pretty brutal on herself but she really transforms her paintings. Daphne was a definite contender and her process is very interesting she is very controlled and contemplative . Her paintings were often my favorites in the prior episodes.
Overall I enjoyed the series. I really appreciate Dalia's willingness to listen to feedback. I think in every episode she listened and took it in. Even this episode when Jake mentioned the chin. She changed it and it looked better. I loved her piece the most.
Those are both no masterpieces but just ok 👏. Dalia her is a sad woman and Dafni her horse is to small for the canvas and it could be a better composition. There equal, so I would split the money in two 😁I love the whole family 💝
Dalia's painting... It makes me feel like when I see an image that chocks me up, but at the same time, I look forward to the future. BUT also the fear of what is coming next along with the excitement that invokes. Mixed emotions...the story of my life. I would love to oun that painting.
Love the series, trying to go back and see the previous ones. Could you possibly direct me to where I can buy these very large easels you are using in the studio in these videos? I have looked everywhere but can't find them.
I’m going to go with Dalia’s painting because of the emotions it shows in the girls face plus Dalia herself was emotional as she painted it so that comes across I think. Both artists were great tho. Well done to all.
I think Dino would have won it all on this challenge. Both the girls paintings are really pretty but both missing the wow factor I think we were all expecting. Definitely came down to the 20 minute source. That was brutal! I can't choose between them.
Really liked Dino's and glad he won this vote. Both girls did great and agree they both had good points but needed more work. Thanks dor the series really enjoyed all 3, but this series was my favorite.
I voted for dino as i loved his painting he does really rich colours and is such a nice person.. if there is a season four please keep it real with focus on the art and not personalities like a lot of rubbish reality show's do.. well done to all involved 👏
I did not think much of either painting. I think the young women should have been given more time to figure out what to paint, not 20 minutes so I will not vote. I think it's wonderful that you have this art competition for us to view, thank you. Also I believe that Dino is the most talented. I cannot believe that his walrus painting did not win. He also seems to be the kindest person in the family.
Can we talk about copyright,, I was under the impression that images on internet are the property of the original artist or photographer,, how can images be downloaded and used without permission??? Genuine question if someone can answer please
My vote is for Daphni. On the other picture the face felt uneven and the teeth for me their black or blackish. Even Daphni's felt off to me like the horse was too small and there is just too much empty space. Still, I voted for Daphni.
She must also look at the corners of the eyes to be the same, but still not finished. I would like the horse to be a bit bigger. Looks good otherwise 😊
Do people know that some of your episodes you have a few family members competing? This one the girls are sisters right? And the helper is your son in law? Your just making family videos under the guide of art competitions?
I believe this season to be a test, what works what doesn’t. It didn’t air here(RUclips) until after season two and three had aired. Seeing the entire family for most following or watching every art video, it is a huge bonus seeing all the family and endures them even more to our hearts. Each one so special and talented in their own way not to mention all the different personalities that mesh and comes together to produce a fantastic video/game show atmosphere for viewers enjoyment. As an artist one might learn tricks and tips they can add to their toolbox. We know they are a family that makes them more enjoyable and loved!
The Outstanding Artist began as a competition amongst friends and family! We've always been transparent about season 1 consisting of close friends and family members. The show has grown since then, seasons 2 and 3 are and all seasons going forward will be made up of artists from all over the world :)
The Outstanding Artist began in season 1 as a competition between friends and family. It grew in seasons 2 and 3 to feature artists from all over the world! And we hope to continue to grow in season 4 and beyond :)
Cannot wait for season 4! I started out by following and watching season 3 as they were released and lo and behold, there was a season 2, which was utterly compelling and delicious as well. Then, the cherry on top of it all, season 1, where it all began. I cry from start to finish at this season because I feel like the Milans are my family, my art family. I hope to go on one of their art retreats in Greece someday. ❤ Much love.

Thank you for bringing this show to us. I just love it. Can’t wait for season 4!!!!

I loved that you showed the source creating process. That is something I want to get better at so it was helpful to see in real time.

Would love to see a Dino/ Dafni rematch sometime! It's been fun getting to know your family.
I would have loved to see Dino and John do this challenge....they were my favorites!
Me to!!
I loved watching them both paint. I love Dalia’s the most. It shows vulnerability in the woman, which to me is transparency.
I can't thank you all enough for the content you create. You've given me vision and am creating much better work, and all those things that I didn't get or understand are completely clear now. Thank You.
You make Tuesdays the best day of the week. I'm looking forward to seeing a season 4. Yes that is a wish that I hope comes true.
Dalia’s is beautiful, very unique! love the show, can’t wait for another season ❤
Dalias - maybe glow, gold and butterflies around the top? Dafini - larger horse? Both are amazing!
While both paintings are good, I am not a fan of floating horses, it makes me uneasy to see it ungrounded. Dalia gets my vote with the beautiful painting she created, I just love everything about it❤
If I didn’t see the people painting I wouldn’t even watch. And I LOVE this show!!!!!
Dino would have won this for sure.
Yuuusss!!! Dino got my vote as well
Both painting are so beautiful. Well done …whoever wins really deserves it.

thank you i love your show.
I guess I'm seeing something totally different. The girl is so much better
Ellie said that they needed to realize that they need GOD. PREACH ELLIE!
I prefer Dalia’s painting for sure over Daphne’s horse which to me looks a bit small for the canvas size
Even though it’s amazing how much you guys accomplish in a short time with a painting, I think if you wanted to end this show with a masterpiece, a bit more time would have done that. They barely had time to interpret such a complicated theme…
What program do they make their sources on in their tablets? I would love to know.
I love Dalias painting more because human faces speak to me a lot more, although I loved the abstract part of Dafni's and how she incorporated John-like style into the horse...the tiny abstractions that were so playful.

What a great show. Love this family and all the art!❤

I so hope you do this show again
I love you all so much! Spectacular! Riveting!
Oh my gosh I have to wait until next Tuesdayyyyyyy??? 😂😂
Everyone in this series are brilliant artist. It’s been difficult choosing just one each time. ❤
oh my, I think they are both very beautiful, for different reasons.
Dahlia's draws my thoughts to introspection, dreaming away, thinking in your own bubble.

It's interesting you mentioned merry-go-round, I felt that too in a way.
I liked both the paintings but Dalia's was dreamy and beautiful she was covered with light and her body fading into the background felt transparent to me. ????????????????????
What software or app are they using to create their references?
Does anyone know what app their using to make their source?
I liked Dalias the best. I think if Daffiny made the horse bigger it would be better. Enjoyed the show
I was disappointed Dino didn’t win. I think they r all amazing but for me Dino was the best. As they say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
25:00 Kandinsky knows best, because he was a great artist, but had a wife who couldn't paint, if her life was on the line ...
Overall I enjoyed the series. I really appreciate Dalia's willingness to listen to feedback. I think in every episode she listened and took it in. Even this episode when Jake mentioned the chin. She changed it and it looked better. I loved her piece the most.

Absolutely Dahlia's painting was most effective for me.
Love the series, trying to go back and see the previous ones. Could you possibly direct me to where I can buy these very large easels you are using in the studio in these videos? I have looked everywhere but can't find them.
We built those easels ourselves actually!
They have a link on their site on how to build them… I need to build one myself…. They are great!
@@milanartstudiosWill we see a season 4? I really love this show
@@AshB_Watercolors thank you but I probably won't build one myself. I really like the big metal ones they were using.
@@milanartstudios ahh, that's why I can't find them loll.
Kinda would have been cool if they didn't sign the paintings and they had to guess who did what.
I’m going to go with Dalia’s painting because of the emotions it shows in the girls face plus Dalia herself was emotional as she painted it so that comes across I think.
Both artists were great tho. Well done to all.
love both of the painting
She’s a preacher,… you are preaching Ellie
My biggest struggle as an artist is finding my own Voice!!!!!! I don’t want to be compared to any other artist.🤪🤪🤪🤪
My children’s books are unique ,I’m now searching for my abstract art voice 😂😂😂😂
I love them both, but am voting for Dalia's lady.
I think Dino would have won it all on this challenge. Both the girls paintings are really pretty but both missing the wow factor I think we were all expecting. Definitely came down to the 20 minute source. That was brutal! I can't choose between them.

Dalia and Dimitria look alot like each other, also their voice is similar😅
Why so much scribbles? You can do alot with your paint
Who won?! I can't find a grande finale anywhere!
That's coming out on Tuesday!! :)
