Asia…your voice is powerful. I’m glad you saw that even though it might not be received some places (for what it might look like or convey…fear of man??), what you have to say is VALID. Yours was a missed opportunity-the rainbow coming off and out of the skull TRULY IS a picture of redemption and God’s covenant power, to raise even the dead!🌈✨Don’t be stopped painting your heART!!
I have a few favorites, Barb, Sawyer, and Esther style/skill wise, but I also really like Michael's art and skills and I don't think he had a chance to show what he can do because of the time restraints but also because how each judge critiques is unique to every judge. I think Michael is very humble and kind and he had such a positive attitude during the show. Also, he was super sweet and an amazing partner to Brie. He made it all about Brie and made sure to do what Brie wanted and did not make it about himself. He was so supportive and he took this experience as a learning experience and opportunity to grow as an artist. I think Michael is truly an outstanding artist. Time restraints and directions are important when fulfilling clients wants/needs, but being a fast painter, using extremely limited materials, painting under strange circumstances, and someone who follows directions perfectly the first time are not what make an artist outstanding.
Love Ester's carousel painting. The colors were very good plus the action, quite viseral, you could feel it. I haven't even mentioned the symbolism! Bravo! 🌟
Right at the start the pairings, right away Michael and Brie I am thinking they are going to pull something outstanding out of the hat. Listening to them together each couple I am thinking they all have great potential. This whole experience of watching these through it makes me want to be immersed in an art group doing projects together. I am much a loner so yeah it really witnesses with me. So I’m watching as things progress and see Sawyer and Alannah’s painting, OMG! That painting is something special, the colors and form, it’s really good. Asia and Isaac’s outcome, fantastic, so unique what they steered towards and created, saw how difficult that was for Asia. We will never know if what she had in mind would come out and turn into, neither will she.
Loved Alannah and Sawyer’s !!!❤ Didn’t understand why Asia and Isaac changed the skull. I would have liked it better. I think Michael and Brie were a bad match. They are both really dark painters. Just my opinion. Not to be mean in any way. Really liked the carousel too! Great episode.
I loved this challenge! All of them are amazing artists! Being able to create such great paintings in such a short amount of time must be super challenging. Congrats to all of you niños!
I really loved Asia and Isaac's painting in terms of my personal esthetic. This was a tough challenge and I think it's amazing what they all did given the circumstances.
I wish the judges knew EXACTLY what Jake has told them are the parameters, bc when they're judging, it feels like they throw half of his guidelines out the window.
I think with esthetic issues, it's hard to be strictly objective, and even in shows like RuPaul's Drag Race, judges have differing opinions. At least they try to justify their judgement with an explanation
My childhood trauma was a little activated with the handcuffs. Found that hard to watch. Guess i still have some healing to do there. Pealing the onion.
Idk about Brie's... they went way too dark and she contradicts herself. He wanted direction because its her painting and was telling her what he would do and all she said was no without telling him what to do instead. Then complaining she had to teach him how to paint. Like no, its just everything he did you said was wrong. I also think it's funny that she mentioned she was going to do exactly what elli did when she used her lifeline. We all know she wasn't going to add those highlights and was going to add two dark sections in the foreground on the bottom corners... but sure girl. I'm sure it would have looked exactly the same lol.
A few turned out very nice work. I don't understand though why they didn't get the RAINBOW - Jake said it a few times; Pain a rainbow. That doesn't mean bright colors; as long as it's a tasteful one, make a rainbow. I imagine though that under the pressure of the circumstances it;s easy to miss ... parts of the instructions; which are the most important part.
A lot of personal undercurrents in this one. I'd be curious to know what was behind a few of the comments, but that's not what this show is about. However, your mindset will affect your performance. I guess that may also be one of the lessons...
She was painting the Caravaggio painting called " The Fruttaiolo" or "Boy with Basket" she placed her own portrait in place of the boy .I think her painting was far more creative and rainbow centered than any of the others
I think that speaks volumes of the art "education" she received in the "Master's program" rather than Sawyer's age. I noticed a lot of them didn't know who many of the artists were when they were choosing who they would get, which again, speaks volumes about the "education program" they attended.
I am addicted to this show! 😂. But it was embarrassing how uneducated art wise the contestants were about the artist that came before them. Pathetic. At least could have not shown it. But I guess that’s the entertaining part!
not a big fan of putting unknown random people into your paintings ... why not putting SOMEBODY into your painting (e.g. yourself, especially the pretty ones)?

I don't think you really get to see what any of them can really do. Too many rules and contradictory instructions.
Love Ester's carousel painting. The colors were very good plus the action, quite viseral, you could feel it. I haven't even mentioned the symbolism!
Bravo! 🌟
She is VERY Talented!!!
I think Michael had a great attitude, healthy, and didn’t make it all about himself. Bravo Michael!
perfect partner for Freezy 😛
A good collaboration is where you’re pulling the best out of one another🙌🏼🙌🏼💞
All the artists were troopers -- the handcuff thing was an unfortunate addition.
What an amazing challenge in cooperation. Kudos for that. I enjoyed this. It is quite helpful.
What kind of paper do they use? It stands up to so many products!!
I was wondering that as well! It seems so durable! Almost like a thin canvas. I hope they respond/answer your question.
Yess!! I came here to ask this :)
Ummmm. Handcuffs maybe a bit over the top 😂😂. Challenge them not cripple them 😂😂. But I’m sure it was fun!

Really liked the carousel too! Great episode.
They were told the skull wouldn’t be accepted… SMH
Love Alannah and Sawyers painting ❤
They are now editing Esther to be less annoying, but more of a sweet Burning Man attendee on the last day
The most annoying and bad attitude! I literally skip over when being interviewed. Then Sawyer and her flirtation towards a married man,
@act1938 Harlots worthy of the Handmaid's Tale!!! A den of iniquity!!
I loved this challenge! All of them are amazing artists! Being able to create such great paintings in such a short amount of time must be super challenging. Congrats to all of you niños!

Love this show. I’ve been looking forward to every new episode 😊❤
The judges contradict themselves. That is my opinion for what it's worth.
OMG Do they ever. That is the one part that annoys me about this competition. I do feel the judging seems unfair.

Omg Judges doing the process about the challenge...have a premeeting and write it down@@bodyofhope
Seems to me even the judging is a creative process and they’re figuring it out real time (how to describe it). Where IMPACT is the desired end result.
Oh my gosh oh my gosh! So excited!!! This intro music has become a “here it comes” anthem to me lol!
Sawyer's mini challenge looked like an evil ventriloquist's dummy
You guys must be so close to my house. I’m just right outside of Helen GA. ❤😊
I'm in North GA too!
I adore this series!!! ❤️
When judging they should know who painted what. I think there’s to much bias over who the person was painting it.
Very good challenge. Great collaboration with every team
My favourite is Asia and Isaac's painting.
Loved them doing different artists styles actally saw different styles
My childhood trauma was a little activated with the handcuffs. Found that hard to watch. Guess i still have some healing to do there. Pealing the onion.
All pants are nice . congratulations all .
At 10.30 Andrea looked like she was drinking dirty paint liquid
I thought that too..
🤣😂
I think that was açai berry.
My bet is that it was a health drink / concoction.

What happened to the last episode of season 3? Who won?
They still haven't announced it.
I’m confused. Aren’t we just watching season 2, or am I just behind?
@@millmallory season 3 happened a while ago, but they still haven't posted the last episode.
I think it's coming out on May 9th. It was just filmed. The audience (us) had to vote, which happened recently, and then they had to film the finale.
@@janinafisher101 ok cool thanks for the update.
Great series, great artists.

wow i love these paintings amazing
The explanations of these challenges should be more clear and concise so that there's no question as to what is expected.
I get anxiety when they say so take these beautiful golden paints and paint on paper paper paper paper what no no no no.
What the heck was Andrea drinking / eating 😳😳

What happened to Brie? was she afraid of the handcuffs? I don't get it? her past?
She used to be a s3x worker, and so clients often requested them...
Or maybe when she used to be arrested for shoplifting at Walmart...
it’s not “a hour” it’s “AN hour!” I’ve heard Elli and Jake do this…it’s a pet peeve
Brie went home because she wouldn’t give Micheal any direction, she needs to learn how to lead. That’s not easy.
Jake always sounds like he has food in his mouth
Ok. I think there shouldn’t have been an issue with the skull design. That being said… all that crying and complaining was just unprofessional.
Esters carousel painting is joyful ❤
Sawyer not knowing she was painting a Hollywood actor, and not a famous master painting is peak Gen Z
She was painting the Caravaggio painting called " The Fruttaiolo" or "Boy with Basket" she placed her own portrait in place of the boy .I think her painting was far more creative and rainbow centered than any of the others
@susanhenshaw8047 sure, no fault for that, just that she didn't recognize her source was a photo of Timothée Chalamet (not a master painting)
I think that speaks volumes of the art "education" she received in the "Master's program" rather than Sawyer's age. I noticed a lot of them didn't know who many of the artists were when they were choosing who they would get, which again, speaks volumes about the "education program" they attended.
