This is looking good. Now if only I could make sense of the content I own vs the content available, I might make a purchase. Content descriptions are so fragmented I can't make head nor tail of it.
Buy the season pass which includes all content released from 2020-2022 and then check through the remaining dlc by date to understand which ones were not included in that season pass.
Rain Physics does actually work on AC... rain on there still looks way better, they need to work in stuff with the CSP guy so they can make AMS2 the best sim for the next 10+ years
If you please can: optimize rain Fps, add DLSS + FSR, correct the bug that duplicates Replays at launch, add a clickable timeline in Replays so we don't have to watch laps at 10x to get to some point. Thanks
If they could do any of that, it would already be done. The duplicate replay bug in particular has been present since the early access days almost 4 years ago. And I stopped hoping for DLSS/FSR as well, there's probably some deep engine issue that prevents adding DLSS/DSR functionality, because otherwise it makes zero sense to not have it already.
@@Case_ Thanks for your comment! Then they will die at the bottom of the ladder. If for one thing ACC paves the way is that a small team has done a lot. The game is fast, has the technologies needed to run the engines on PCs with high frame rate which is what competitions demand. You can change anyone of the many Video options without even exiting the session, can you imagine in AMS2 you have to reboot the game with some of them...and has a sound Replay so you can study laps. What are they thinking of doing releasing tons of DLCs only...
what I don't like is how the drops accumulate when the whipers are on. there suddenly appear a lot of drops out of nowhere and when you use the faster setting, this will simply speed up. watch from 0:00 to 0:21 the rain accumulates much faster, while the whipers are on, than it does when they are off. you'd think this might be because of different speeds, but it isn't.
To be honest i'd appreciate it more if rain wasn't absolutely tanking performance compared to dry. Though it has been like this in Project CARS 2 as well so i'm not blaming ya for that.
Pardon me but this doesn't look very different from what the rain looks like now...? AC with CSP is still a different league (imho anyway). Still, I do appreciate how AMS2 is maturing.
Same thoughts. CSP rain dynamics on windshield are only 2nd to driveclub. This is not even close to proper feeling of fluid but rather some marching ants. I hope it is going to develop furthur.
"Updated windshield rain dynamics Preview" or Le Mans preview ??
yes
i know you wont stop till perfection and squeeze all the madness engine can give. great work Reiza team !
The AI on Nords after the last update is genuinely spectacular. Especially in the Mini's 😄
Reiza really need to touch base with the guy that does the rain for AC. It's so realistic.
I notice that water droplets on windshield don't slide upward unless the wipers are moving.

Well thats a nice surprise - did not think that was ever going to change and it really needed to :)
Man can't wait to drive this in VR. Ams2 is the visual paradise. 🎉
Custom shader patch goes to the best sim where rain physics actually does work. This is awesome . AMS2 is top

@@____________________ok No, Madness engine is actually better for graphics than the one on AC
What about the missing rain drops on our helmet visor when playing in VR? Has that been fixed? It’s a legacy bug all the way from Project Cars 2
Need the wiper to move the rain particles. An example would be the rain mod on Assetto Corsa or Driveclub.
That’s not really realistic though. Good wipers don’t smear the raindrops.
@@alfredlille Oh! that's unfortunate.. cause that feels so satisfying..
Ist so hard to wait for Le Mans. The rain looks Great.

The clickable timeline in replays is my biggest and only wish.

@@alex.germanySure then you play in rain at half the frame rate as it has never been optimized.
Nice! But, can we get TrueForce with audio implemented? That really adds immersion on my Logitech PRO wheel..

Do you have an example of another PC sim title that "doesn't" lower FPS in game when generating rain graphics?
Or more like it, you can't espect a low end gpu from 2017 to play this modern game lol @@darwinLee81283
@@darwinLee81283 That's a very good point. :D
The wiper is doing nothing on the first wipe. The droplet just fade by it own instead of getting pushed. Please fix 😊
No comparison to old effects? Split screen guys? 😢
does that sound like R8 lms??????? AUDi coming to AMS2?
Looks like from 2007. Have you ever seen how rain looks in AC with CSP?
The guys created Csp is now working on it in Reiza, I guess. Just wait a bit.

Impressive, but will it be a frame rate hog??
Good job Reiza!
Cant say im impressed
Is that Le Mans?!
Did no one else notice the Le Mans circuit?
I still can't believe a single man can mod rain physics into AC and make it easily hands down far superior to any major sim title.

Awesome!
Have a possibility of a new class of cars ? A uma possibilidade de haver uma nova classe de carros ?
There's already like 69 different classes of cars so what class do you want?
Looks not nice or natural. Please look at AC CSP.

Nice
Now this is sexy
Did you mean to post this as a good thing? The rain effect on the windscreen looks terrible.
I don't think it's about the rain on the windshield only. 😉
