Great show as always. KAsante is fantastic as always. Regarding the Dragon Age discussion. DA:O is one of my favorite games of all time time. I replayed it multiple times to see how all the different choices affect the game. I didn't like the recent gameplay shown of DA:V. To me it looked more like a Sci-fi with the floating ring thing blasting prison like lights with a dude speaking through a megaphone. The demons design also looked out of place with all that neon light. Plus the combat didn't look great, but that could be because they were showing a level 1 character. Also they said you can't control your companions which is not a good start for me. In the end the most important thing is the story and choices you make. We won't know how good that is until we play it. I will definitely pick it up because of my love for DA:O, and I hope it surpasses my expectations.
Thank you Expert. And yeah, I think many of us are in the same boat with The Veilguard. We certainly hope it does the right things with story and character development. And hopefully we'll have Mark back on prior to release too!
I know its called "Bioware" but I think many people will have a lot better time with this next dragon age game if everyone could just realize that its not actually bioware. its a diff company with a few people who happened to carry over. its the company that brought us such bangers as "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and the live service multiplayer smash hit, "Anthem".
Well, double comment because of Mr Asante. Agreed with Runckle, give the man a tie! even if he is largely misguided on his cloud rant. If cloud could be an *option* , I'd never be against it but Microsoft has over 30 years of experience in removing as much option as possible from their 'customers'. The matrix experience that he mentioned? Will not be possible if cloud providers and publishers have anything to say about it. And, to any console warriors who might be thinking that this is a one brand thing , just think about all Sony exclusives for all those 3rd party games, and mandatory psn account for single player games as a couple of recent examples. Sony would do the same thing if they're in the same position.

Yeah that's also very true. The company names remain, but the developers can be completely different. We'll see!

Has Dan tried Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew? I literally described it as Hitman meets Ghost Recon a few weeks back. I think he'd really dig it.
Recommending now!
for Mass Effect - absolutely 1 - did not play past 3 - 3 was a let down. 1 was so cool.
WINNER!
