This is a perfect review. I appreciate how you let the viewers listen to the sounds picked up both by studio microphones (importantly, without EQ enhancement) and the cajones' internal electronics. Thank you for your help.
Thank you Sweetwater for a proper demo! The video by Meinl that I saw on a lesser online music store was exactly what you don't want: mostly just the cajon jamming along with a band. Un help ful. Y'all do it right.
The normal slap top sounds like it has a better/deeper low than the turbo in this video. The turbo middle sounded more like a conga than a thump. I was expecting the turbo with the deeper shell to be giving out a naturally deeper thump 🤷♂️
You missed at trick, below the bass sound is the conga sound ! I have one so versatile always getting comments on what it is and where to get one.and the sound of course super product have been playing it for years.
I know there was one from 2020, I believe, that can switch between a multitude of sounds and I think has a built in sub/speaker/s and ability to plug in other instruments/mics. I know for sure it can switch easily between sounds and you can use it to loop, too! Very awesome. Hoping to pick one up soon!
I am a Washboard player, I have two different Zinc King #701 Washboards...I use 4 thimbles on both hands...I was just wondering if this could be used to amplify a Washboard....?
Be nice if you told me how to link the vertical subwoofer cajon with pickup to the turbo slap top cajon with pickup, since I bought both from you. I guess I’ll send them back since you don’t sell them with manuals and won’t tell me how to use them together.

Thank you this is the only informative video I've found on this series.

Looks like these have improved a lot since I bought my first generation burhl wood pickup cajon.
Thanks guys for the help😁

Mind if I ask what model you have? Beginner here desperate for something amazing.
Very helpful. Thank you!
Slaptop Cajon needs a square fold-up holding stand to ground it and cut the wobble when playing..
What model is the right one?
Were any Cajun drums announced at NAMM19 that have multiple built in effects/sounds?

I believe those pickups are built into the drums. Just buy a piezo pickup by itself

Doesn’t seem like you CAN link them. None of these had any inputs, so how could linking take place?
@@thescorpiuslibra1676The new ones have a "link" jack along with the regular jack
My new slaptop turbo has a second link jack along side the regular jack
Those cajones look nice.
Btw Plural for Cajón is Cajones not Cajons.
Thats not important any more..when it comes to sound.. 🐏🆗
You've got some real Cajones with a comment like that!
Of course it is ; )
Needs XLR outputs on these, not 1/4"
Run it through a DI box
@@ChrisMolyneaux93 true, but there will be some signal degradation that way and not as convenient.

"You can unscrew the nuts" he says and the camera zooms into his crotch.
I guess I'll pass on this and go back to guitar again. 😉
