When I was a new player in FH4 I actually just tried to drive veeeeeery carefully without even hitting traffic thinking the game would punish me somehow if I did, I know it's stupid, but the game looked so real the first time I played.
I am absolutely a realistic driver in FH5 and I can tell you that the realistic driver in this video is going more than double the speed limit in Mulege.
I see me being three or four of those, the realistic, the highway racer and the car guy. I think the new player would be more like, crashing at everything or being extremely careful while driving, but nice representation of these types of drivers
@@Lalchhandama-d1b but it doesn't because you turn the wheel around a lot more than 90° in real life, and a car from the outside looks the same as in the game
I always play in first-person front/hood view in event racing because I got used to playing sims, which is the camera I got used to. I tried playing in 3rd person during races but I always either oversteer or understeer and have too many correction steering. On free roam, I usually go 3rd person to enjoy the view
I really thought the [bad] drifter was going to be those ones who do the 1000 point widthways micro drifts that eek them a cars length along the zone, but have to come to a full stop to get all the points. They’ll spend an hour on a drift zone, but they will get it! Us realistic drivers would never use 3rd person :)
I don't understand, what tactic is that? I've never seen it. Points drifting at the highest level doesn't look attractive but it's incredibly difficult and you need to use handbrake extensions and clutch to sort of 'shimmy' your way sideways and hoover up as much of the track as possible, then maximise angle just before you turn into another drift. You might be talking about that.
Me too. I´m also someone who really looks on his car inventory, and sells or gives away every car that I don´t want or need or have twice. For example, I have 67 cars in my inventory, but have had the achievement of 100 cars one month or so ago.
I think I fall under 3 of those prefixes. Realistic, Car Guy and Off Roader. But if I had to choose a sub category that isn't mentioned. it'd be more along the lines of "the free roam Circuit Racer" (I race around the map at like breakneck speeds hitting the apex and taking racing lines like it's a real race.)
The problem with learning to drift is understanding how scoring works not how much smoke you make, my first lesson was learning how much earlier you need to prepare for a turn after the turn you are about to start, only people with steering wheels feel the need to treat this as a driving lesson, you are here to have fun, this is all based on learning how the car works and in what scenario it offers you something. I question people who feel are being judged or not able to push the boundaries. It's only a boundary when you learn where it is. Really enjoyed the video.
Mannn, I remember when I was a new player on here wondering why tf I couldn’t pop a wheelie with any car (when I was the king of wheelies in Horizon 4), then I long after came to realize that simulation steering is literally busted lol😭

as one of the new drivers (a few months ago i was) i can say i drove perfectly fine due to the fact i played to many racing games or car games, i feel like everyones expectations of new players is unrealistic
It really depends on the player's background. Horizon is a pretty casual experience compared to alot of other racing games so I feel it kinda stands as an entry level pick to the genre as a whole, meaning it's more likely new FH5 players will have little driving game experience compared to new players of F1 2020 for example
i saw new player and bad drifter in one live stream 🤣🤣🤣 so accurate even the new player brake tested and crashed the AI, what it makes this even funnier is that the new player was the one who organized everything during the race went straight and crash into the wall and rocks 🤣🤣
