If you lightly push down the lever, it’ll add water into your system. After that it should not leak out. It should stay right around whatever psi you said it to.. you should do this when the boiler is hot, not when the boiler is cold because when water gets hot, it expands so you don’t want to go too high .. if you’re not a professional, be careful if you’re not comfortable, you should call somebody
My pressure is down to 10psi, how do I adjust the Taco quick fill value to increase to 12psi? Turn the screw clockwise to increase psi? Also, do I do anything with the quick fill lever?
The fill valve should be precept for 12 psi if it’s not you can press down the lever until it goes up to 12 psi that should be OK if you want to raise the fill psi level loosen the nut below the screw slowly turn the screw till it's 12 psi then re-tighten the nut
I don’t like to talk about other companies because I think karma is a bitch but just look up a automatic fill valve online you’ll see the price of it but then incorporate around $200 per hour that it takes to install and then add 30% for the company Then you can make your own decision. Have a great day.

@@lvvhvac9787 Thank you. That worked great!! Super easy!
I got charged 1400$ for this exact job minus the complicated install. Does that sound reasonable?

So basically I got screwed, which I already knew was happening when they also charge 900$ for flushing the system
@@Jtlake16haha😅
@@Jtlake16$750 including a backflow preventer, shut off valves on each side and no shark bites. The video is a hack job.
