63 tomorrow and I remember him in "Back to Bataan". Funny did not associate the name with the face, but when I first saw this, That movie and that character came to mind within a minute. But did not recognize him in Kung Fu...But the voice is clearly him.
I'm 65 now, and remember this actor. Now an insightful backstory has been added, and I'd like to hear more!

LOVE THIS VIDEO
I love the 1930's clothes and makeup! Very theatrical and makes the presentation more fun!
Finally, a new video! Yay!
I loved seeing him in his movies and Kung Fu! A very good actor! 🤔😁👍
My timeline knows exactly what I like. Although he should’ve been known as his own person being called the Korean Clark Gable is a pretty high bar.
Thank you for sharing such a great history!
Thanks for the memories!

Thank you so much for this. I loved him in Kung fu, but now I will search out all his other works with joy.
James Cagney stood up for many black actors. It’s good to see that he did it across the board. I’ll bet he insisted on that dialogue in that scene.
He was more patriotic than John Wayne. He served during WWII.
lol yep
Phillip Ahn,Key Luke,James Hong, all of the above actors were excellent in whatever role be it minor or lead actor.
He was a semi regular on M*A*S*H. I did not know he was a Korean. I would love to see the movies he made with Anna May Wong.
“Kung Fu” was an awesome series.
he looks a bit like Patrick Stewart
