What I especially enjoy is how you always make it a point to interact with your viewers, and it’s more than a couple of words, as your viewership grows it may not be possible. I live in Hungary and it's not the wealthiest country even for the middle class, so I'm on a budget as for frag collecting. That's why I'm so happy that I've found the perfect, affordable version (or dupe) of Zadig&Voltaire This is Her. It's a Zara scent, the name is Fields of Nightfall. i'm in love with that one, chestnutty, creamy, lactonic, cocooning....just wow! Thanks for your videos, your upbeat personality always cheers me up.

My sister got bell's palsy 3 times. The first time she got it, the whole right side of her face was affected. It was very strange because the right side of her face would not move at all, while the left side was fine. She recovered, but not to 100% so she gets botex to help even out that side. Glad you had a mild case. You would never know you had it at all. Thank you for your videos. I love your energy!
Believe it or not the same thing happened to my little sister and unfortunately, she had it when it was school picture day, so we'll never be able to forget that! ❤
Yes, I didn’t realize how common Bell’s palsy is, but it seems to be something that happens! I’m very thankful that I didn’t have a really bad case and it was super mild
When I was in middle school, my best friend got Bell's palsy and the doctors found out that it was Lymes disease (borreliosis) that had caused it. And then my relative (bout 40-ish at the time) had only her jaw/mouth "paralyzed" /hanging (not her eyelid or forehead, just the lower part of the face) and it was a ("mild") stroke! At first the doctor thought it was Bell's palsy but it wasn't.
Oh, I ordered the journal! Love!!! I just ordered another one for my granddaughter. She is a preteen, and loves the juices like her Nana. I’m trying to teach her the different notes with the opening, middle, and dry down. She will enjoy it.
Sorry you had to deal with Bell’s palsy. I had a tough case several years ago. I started out with a hard migraine. My left eye still has issues when I get to tired. I look like a broken doll. lol We must take care of ourselves. I’m so glad that your symptoms are going away. Hugs from New Mexico!

I honestly love all of the Idôle line, but Nectar and Now are probably my most reached for. They never fail to give me a mood boost so I’ll always have them in my collection. Mon Guerlain is another I can’t live without. It’s comforting and classy, and I always feel more confident when I wear it. ❤
Mon Guerlain. I got the big bottle at Sephora on sale.. it smells like such a beautiful, sophisticated vanilla. Like a warm hug from a beautiful mom or grandma.

There are some great niche houses ( especially Italian I’ve noticed )that are as same price range as designer! Like Bianco Latte or Merchant of Venice or Perfume de Firenze I got Vanille Del Madagascar from them it’s such a good vanilla!

Out of the ones you mentioned, I totally agree with coco Mademoiselle. She smells so classy and elegant to me! I do have la belle, but never reach for it. Unfortunately, it’s a bit heavy smelling to me. I have goddess too. I think it smells nice, but not special to my nose. It unfortunately has abysmal longevity for me. I have to say that if I’m reaching for a vanilla, I would reach for eilish 1 before goddess. Maybe goddess intense will be better for me! Fun video!

I think Armaf Modest Deux is the middle eastern version of the formulation of Lancôme La Nuit Tresor you have. I absolutely ❤ it! It smells exactly as you described it.

The reviews from other RUclipsrs at the time of the release was luke warm, it seemed that you either loved Burberry Goddess or Devotion and most fell into the Devotion camp. But for me, Burberry Goddess is the better fragrance. I tried Bee by Ellis Brooklyn because of one of your videos and it is absolutely gorgeous and addictive. It's a very special fragrance. It's one of the few fragrances that gets me compliments, that one and Coco Mademoiselle, which I will always have in my collection because of sentimental reasons. I just want to add that I love your content. You are always so positive, so inclusive and authentic, we need more of that in this world. Thank you for spreading so much light and love ❤

Sorry that you've had such a rough time for the past few months but hopefully things are turning around now. For me, YSL Libre EdP is the only perfume I have a backup bottle of. Also wondering what I'm going to do when my Gucci Envy and Gucci Flora run out, as they're both discontinued. And here's a funny story about perfume. I recently bought a bottle of Burberry Goddess as a graduation gift but I don't want to give it away!

My mother got Bells Palsy shortly after getting the Shingles Vaccination. My father also got Shingles shortly after vaccination??? Take care and my mothers was much more severe and she had a lot of pain from nerve by ear/face. Take care

I recently fell in LOVE with La Vie En Belle, but I have made the decision not support any brands that are corporate owned, so I tried the Oakcha dupe and I love it! A friend tried the Oakcha dupe of Byredo's Gypsy Water ( I wouldn't buy because of the ethnic slur in the name), and she loves it! So apparently they are quite good. I haven't had the same luck with Dua.

Hi Maria, thanks for these great reviews ;). Scandal à Paris seems to be discontinued. Il love all these fragrances. The only one I don't know is Burberry Godess because I am afraid of lavender.
The lavender is there but it’s so cozy under the vanilla. I wasn’t expecting much from it but I love it. It’s a very soothing scent and I wear it to bed.
I’ve been using my journal kind of like a perfume diary. I keep it in my desk at work and knowing I need to write in there helps me grab for something new everyday. I can easily test, longevity and village because I’m not just sitting at home. It’s so much fun.

I dissed Burberry Goddess…at first! I couldn’t smell it!! So I sprayed it and let it sit a month until June. And as soon as the heat hit it? 💥 finally it blossomed on me! I heard a flanker is coming? Soo I’m pretty exited about it!!
I’m curious if Mon Guerlain is too similar to BG? I do love lavender if it’s sweet( love replica but too much for something that fades 😢)
But I may just try Rochas Man Intense as it sounds just like replica it’s cheap and better lasting power!
But my fav all time designer scent would be Poison! I would be heartbroken if they stopped making it even though it’s reformulated! 😔

I also did not like BB Goddess! I had a decant and gave it away. Then, my husband bought me a 100ml bottle as an anniversary gift because he loved how it smelled. After it sat for a little while I began to enjoy it and now I love it!
BG and MG are both in my top 10 for life. I feel like they are completely different on the skin (well, my skin at least). MG isn’t woody like BG is, and the lavender fades in the drydown. Plus, you cannot beat Guerlain vanilla.

I don't want to start a discussion on the legitimacy of chiropractic here but I do hope and suggest that you were seeing a physician regarding the Bell's Palsy. Also I love that your favorites persist over time! I love La Belle, La Nuit Tresor and Idole (OG, haven't tried Nectar). Scandal, Coco, Guerlain are not for me.
Yes, as soon as I realized it was Bell’s palsy or that the chiropractor thought it might be that I immediately went to the doctor to get that confirmed into go along with proper treatment 😀💕

Ugh, we also had to buy a new car this year for different reasons (along with about 15K other expenses like a new heat pump, roof repair and cleaning, etc, etc). I have not had a payment for anything in many years, including a mortgage, but since we had so many other expenses this year, we were more cash poor than usual. I'm sorry I don't think there are many designers worth the high price tag these days. BUT JPG is a great line that I buy from alot. LA Belle is on e of those scents that is worth it. I have the intense parfum one too. Love it!

Maria what you think about prada paradox intense ?
I’m not a fan. I like it better than the original but it just doesn’t play well on my skin. It smells sweet and floral at first and then goes kinda funky in me. It’s a major love for many though!

What does it mean when someone says, "it smells perfume? I mean, it's a perfume. Isn't it supposed to smell perfumey? Or is that referring to a specific fragrance?

That’s an excellent question. When I say perfumey- I think of a bit more vintage I guess…like old school fragrance from the 80’s/90’s that is a bit more thick. Current fragrance tends to have fruits and florals or gourmand…there’s a bit more space in the fragrance and a lot of times you can pick out specific notes…as opposed to smelling just a smell that’s all blended together…I don’t know if that helps but that’s what I was getting at.
