    The flex card can be installed without removing heatsink. Just keep track of screws.

    Thank you so much for this! Does the x8 PCIe slot support bifurcation? I would want to install a riser card to have two M.2 NVMe drives in addition to the two already on the system board. Is this possible? Thanks.

      I understand that you need to know whether the x8 PCIe slot support bifurcation.
      I will do my best to assist you.
      Motherboards and BIOS MUST support bifurcation otherwise only first drive can be recognized.
      Unfortunately HP does not provide that information.
