  • Yeah, this was annoying, but I still had a GREAT time at the MLB Series at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. Unfortunately this home run ball was hit by Ichiro Suzuki, but to be fair, it DID happen during batting practice. Make sure you check out the full-length version of this video on my channel -- it's gotten more views than anything I've ever posted:

When I go to my high schools games, they would always ask for the ball back. So I’ve been bringing a “decoy ball” so when they ask for the ball back, give them the decoy, while keeping the home run ball!

But then nobody knows it’s the home run ball then ? It’s like replacing the eifle tower with an exact replica, nobody will ever know, sure but then everyone will assume the ball you gave back was the home run ball…. Even if it’s not..

My understanding of this rule is that it is a public safety measure. If the balls could be kept it may encourage fans to be more aggressive about getting one.

I meannnn, im not even gunna lie.. ive never played organizied baseball. Im not the biggest baseball fan so I don't really watch it to much.
However, i know that when you're batting, you're number 1 intention is to hit the ball as hard as you can hoping its a homerun into the stands.
Now, unless its a special homerun and the ball has sentimental value to whoever hit the homerun, they are intending for whoever catches it to keep it, lmao.
Batting practice or not, a batters intentions are usually to hit the ball into the stands. Unless they're doing special grounding drills or practicing their bunts, they intend for a fan in the stands to catch and keep that ball, lmao.

Japan need to change their Baseball ⚾️ rule when it comes to ball ⚾️ flying to the fan. The Fan should at least keep the ball when the ball is out. It totally suck when security takes the ball from you when it’s out. I hope someday Japanese baseball will allow Fan to keep the ball when it out.

He didn't steal your ball as you well know because you explained the rules in a previous video. Why would you do something so underhanded and make a false claim about someone just doing their job while being polite to you? If you want to get technical the only one doing anything illegal in this video is you, since filming people in public and uploading it without their permission is against the law in Japan.
