The fact she can give actual tips for surviving a non realistic situation through her actual experiences is so cool. Although personally I don’t think a normal human could survive in this type of situation (bugs survive through either heavy adaptation of their bodies for weaponization or escape, astronomically high numbers, or both. That’s not from a bug to bug thing that’s as a species, the bug world is brutal.) Although with square cube law you’d probably be much stronger proportionally. Like you’d be able to lift things several times your body weight. So I could totally see a large group of people like her doing well. She is so badass and is an absolute inspiration for people like me to get out there and learn how to survive. Definitely has a new fanboy lol

There are several problems. 1. Metabolism in the human body is designed for ordinary human sizes, and a person reduced to a size of less than a millimeter will simply freeze if he does not constantly warm himself, but any fire can kill you with its heat, any fluctuation of a match flame from any breath of wind - and you will burn. 2. Since you will be very light, you may be blown away by the wind. And for example, if you get to the other end of the city, traveling home will be almost impossible. 3. The chance to cope with insects is very low, because they have a much more effective structure for their size, any ant will kill you, simply because it is much stronger than you. 4. If you don't show up on time and don't pay for the house, you will be reported missing and the house will be sold for debts, and the new owners may simply crush you. 5. In case of rain, you can simply drown, or, you will not drown immediately, but the flow of water will carry you into the sewer, so it will be very insulting to die. 6. It is very bad if one of your enemies finds out that you have shrinked. They can do anything to you if they find and catch you. The game is certainly interesting, but in fact I would not want to be in this position even if there were no spiders and other dangerous fauna.
"if you absolutely have to, eat your friends" me and the guys discussed this, if we ever are in a survival situation we would deside by hunting if you can't get any thing your next to be eaten and if everyone gets some the one that brings the smallest is next, if he finds food for the group after a day he will be spared, this took us 2 hour to discuss and agree.
i love how Kinga just rolls with super video gamey things like robot enemies/ buddies and just talks about them like they're a normal thing you encounter in the wild in survival situations.

I'm not a survival expert, but I am near-sighted, and I have started a fire with a magnifying glass. I don't think you can use your glasses to start a fire if you are near-sighted. Those lenses are concave and spread light as opposed to a magnifying glass that is convex and focuses light.
A survivalist who's afraid of spiders 😅 this makes me so happy. I love camping and bushcraft but I hate spiders and centipedes, all other bugs I'm fine with but I can't cope with them. Just clarification, milkweed is edible *specifically the pods when cooked* as a botanist who likes to forage, there are a lot of plants that are considered "toxic" but after cooking are totally safe. However always, ALWAYS make sure you are *1000% sure of what are you eating* if you have *ANY* doubt, do NOT eat it.

I think more survival games should hire someone who is an expert survivalist. They could really give them a lot of good ideas for what to include in the game. More natural plants and stuff for us to eat. Eating the bug parts and such. Boiling standing water for safety. I would definitely use a research lab as a base. But we can't. Even though it would make total sense in a survival situation to do so.
Now what would have been really funny is if they had the player fight a wolf spider. Seeing as Kinga was saying something about the inevitable wold attacks. Lol
Bow and arrow might be effective at that scale. The good part is that you'll have pretty flat trajectories. I mean, basically if you can get an arrow to the speed it needs to do to pen an exoskeleton, you should pretty much not have to worry about gravity. The bad part is that arrows will be in the same sticky soupy air as everything else. Getting the flights to stabilize the dart could actually be really difficult.
Okay, someone is gonna have to explain how you can start a fire in a pinch with glasses, because I don't believe that. Glasses don't focus light in a way that would allow them to heat an object up.

NO, you can NOT use (common) glasses to start a fire. Most people (especially kids) are going to be short sighted. Glasses for short sighted people don't focus the beam. Only glasses against long sightnes may work, and most people don't have them with them all the time, so probably also not in a survival situation.
