Great instruction as usual. Being a lefty I always enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work try to get out to Southern California someday for a clinic. You will love our weather year round
YES BUT CONNORS NO FRILLS MEANT HE HAD FEWER OFF DAYS TIMING WISE! The timing on the modern forehand takes more time geared for hitting balls on the drop whereas Connors hit nearly everything on the rise giving his opponents less time to setup. I enjoy your lessons being a lefty myself I wish you would make some lessons for lefty's playing righty's . I don't like Nadal's forehand too much of a strain on the arm surprised he hasn't had issues with his arm the way he hits.
i don't like the elbow high tip. it makes you late on the ball. i am very much aware of that mechanic since ivan lendl used it to perfection. unfortunately amateur doesn't have that kind of talent. even dominick thiem switched to racket head back quicker type of motion because that elbow up high made him late on the ball on fast courts
I don't like high elbow either seems like you are sacrificing timing and precision to create a little more power which can be a problem with someone who hits really hard groundstrokes.
@@user-be5qg7mr1s You Wrong. Thiem worked on his forehand last year to Get RID of that elbow first take back. it was making him late on fast courts. I am 4.5 level, used to be close to 5.0

theim still does the high elbow takeback. All pros do it..if you are 3.5 and under then I understand how it can be difficult
