Was this lesson helpful? What else would you like to learn?
It was very helpful. I would like to see more videos analysing the shots of pro players. Especially older players(like Sampras, Ivanisevic, McEnroe) would be cool to see.
I'd love to see the same video with the two handed backhand 💪
How to use the legs. Like a breakdown with drills and everything. Everyone says to push but where? Up, to the side, back? Is there a timing to it? Can you do it to early can you do it to late? There isn't tons of videos on effective leg use.
I would love to see a video helping western grip players
Very helpful thank you. I'd like to see a video about forehand slice with some helpful tips and tricks.
Among other things, I loved the bloopers in the end. :D

Re: possible future lesson. Like most club players my age I only play doubles these days and am getting a bit confused by some of today's positing
Eg. As to the reasoning why the server's partner now stands in a central position at the net and is their any truth that doubles partners should image they are attached together by a piece of string when they move about court? Just basic stuff really. Thank you. Tony.
Great explanation coaches

@@TopTennisTrainingOfficial I watched your video on the one-handed backhand. But I'm always making contact with the ball too late. The great thing about this wrist lag video is that mastering your last drill effectively guarantees I won't hit the ball late. If there were a similar drill for the one-handed backhand or other tips for getting the timing and spacing right, that would be most useful.

muy bueno y esclarecedor.
The tip at 6:29 is brilliant. I tend to grip the racket way too tight and end up losing power in my shots and becoming fatigued easily. Definitely will following the advice on keeping the fingers loose when taking the racket back and then grip tighter on the swing. Cheers

Top Tennis Training - Pro Tennis Lessons should the windshield wiper motion be forced or should it come naturally. And should the wrist be stiff or loose?
Nice video, last drill/exercise rocks! It would be a great idea to see a video about kinetic chain and drills to automate an efficient body transfer for the forehand. I tend to turn exageratelly to the sides, spoil the equilibrium and loose lot of energy applied to the ball as a consecuence, specially when the rally is at high speed.

Could you make a video explaining the forehand backswing?
Here you go - ruclips.net/video/XlgWnL8KklU/видео.html
Great demo and explanation as usual .
At what stage of junior development would you recommend / introduce racket lag ?
For many juniors, they’ll be using lag to some degree once they start playing high level regional/national in their age group.
It can always be improved but often that comes from creating an ideal swing for them. That’s work that should be done as soon as they can hit the ball and rally
Hi guys. Great video. The question is "What is first, the chicken or the egg"?
What does initiate locking the wrist?
is it hip movement,
or locking motion of my wrist (but it should be relaxed at that time),
or something else that I did not get it?
It comes from a relaxed wrist and using the body correctly to uncoil but the wrist being laid back slightly in the swing also helps. It all goes together
Final part is awesome. Reminded me of Jackie Chan movies. :)

@@TopTennisTrainingOfficial: Hard to say, Simon. You, guys, cover pretty much everything. Right now I am slowly going through your videos and memorize your advises and implement then into my game. If you did not cover these topics, I would love to hear your thoughts on the following ones:
1) Winning play patterns for clay court players;
2) Fitness for tennis players (young and those who are 45+);
3) Main strategies for 45+ players who play peers and guys who are 20 years younger.
The reason I focus my attention on these three topics is:
1) I am 46. Once a week I play with the guy who's 20 years younger. He is destroying me, but sometimes I manage to take 2-3 games in a set.
2) I love to lift free weights including kettle bells, and I noticed that sometimes I do too much and, as a consequence, I don't have any energy to play top of my game on court.
3) I play on clay courts.
Again, thank you for doing great job!
With best regards from Ukraine,
Vitaliy
