Thank you Sir for this! I’m watching this 2 years later. One of the best reviews on RUclips for a camera bag(s). I have the Airport int’l 2.0 one of my favorite bags and also the bag I use the most. My other Think tank work horses are the Artificial Intelligence 3.0 laptop bag, and the Streetwalker pro. Not many companies like Think tank left in the world. Quality reliable gear!
Years ago I bought a rolling camera bag from Think Tank and eventually I had trouble with pulling out the collapsible handle...I called CS and they send me one free of charge...but I had the wrong address and they send me another one at the correct address free of charge...the irony of it all was that the original handle started functioning again without a problem. I really love this bag and now since I am doing a few location jobs I decided it was time to invest in a rolling bag for my light stands...c stands are great but too heavy for me so I want to have something a bit more elegant than. a Whole Foods grocery cart! Beacause of how great Think Tank was to deal with I am spending a little more on another great case...now!!! more clients please!!!! thanks for your review!!!!
Thanks for showing us your bags. My Shapeshifter v1.0 is also my most used bag. Thanks for the tip about the frequent flier numbers on the business card. Good one!
I also use the ThinkTank Shapeshifter 17 as my main everyday bag, but I use the Naked Shapeshifter (which uses the belt-system lens bags inside, rather than the neoprene). The advantage is if I get somewhere and want to just carry my camera on a strap, then just a single extra lens, I can quickly pull out that lens pouch and put it on my belt (not usually the official belt). If I'm shooting a highschool basketball game, for example, I can leave my backpack somewhere safe and just carry the extra lens pouch on my belt in case I decide to switch lenses periodically.
My preferred bags are Think Tank and have been for many years. But, lately they seem to have lost their way. Maybe that's because their bags do last forever and their previous bags were so good that there's no reason to replace them.
you may be right about that. Back in the day we all used Lightware and I had zippers replaced all the time. I've never had to send a ThinkTank bag in for anything yet.

Think Tank does make really great gear. Some of my first gear is TT and I still have it since it’s so well made.
Totally agree!
