    This is what I want to see. A full update and not just the set up. Beautiful pond , very well maintained.

    Wow: I keep 55 gal tubs, which I cannot winter any fish outside. Yours is perfect! Thank you for the sound track.

    🤔Wondering how you handle overflow in such a system.... looks like it's filled to the brim. Are there no holes at the top in case of rain?

    How could you have so many goldfish wasn't your amonia level through the roof? How big is your pond?

    Goldfish and snails don't go well together. The snails will eventually get all eaten...But other than that...great simple set-up. Simplicity...ZEN

    Really nice pond! It's soo clear!
    By the way once older the goldfish will easily be able to eat the minnow.

      Thanks! So far the larger goldfish haven't shown any interest in the minnows but I'll make sure to move the minnows out if they start getting eaten.

    I’m in the East Bay area as well. I’ve been thinking about putting in a trough pond for my mud turtle. I would love to see an update to your pond. Thank you.

    What kind of pump and water filter do you have to have for that.?The sound of the water is so relaxing.

    Are you from the Monterey area because I am from salinas and want to know where did you get our pond plants

  • @SirenaSpades
    @SirenaSpades 2 года назад +1

    Very pretty but I admit I got concerned when you kept adding more and more goldfish! Lots of toxins there, my friend. Two or three goldfish, maybe in a tank this size. Otherwise many water changes in your future.

    Pls let us know what pond filter you are using?

  • @sandyjoy7948
    @sandyjoy7948 5 лет назад +2

    What type of filter equipment did you use? Why did you add a "pond liner" ?

    • @DJ2130
      @DJ2130 5 лет назад +2

      They probably added pond liner because the zinc in the metal tanks are poisonous to fish and also some of the metal tanks leak a lot.

    How do you deal with all the goldfish waste? How often do you do water changes?

    how do you cycle a tank this large?

    • @fune3354
      @fune3354 4 года назад +1

      Same as a smaller tank, throw in some fish food and water conditioner for a fishless cycle or toss in feeder minnows/shrimp to cycle it quicker (most of them will die though)

    Damsel and dragonflies larvae will eat your fry and small fish. They are predators. I have seen it my self.
