For people who can't understand why it's tough, "because it's just water" . That wave behind him would've easily weighed more than 100 school buses , to ride and survive such waves , is inhuman .
yes , not tough but inhuman, these athletes are grossly underpaid and underrated . No other sport has as much risk of death as surfing has ,
But still these godlike humans keep doing the unthinkable.

In my sleep I was having nightmares that there was barbwire in a surfing spot in the ocean and I got stuck in the barb wire whilst my friends where watching me do areal manouvers out surfing!!! I woke up thinking of how I think obviously that everywhere in Australia and the world is intensity landscaped into a seemingly safe place for humans, but since doing surf Life saving training as a child regularly I allwase know the ocean conditions can change completely and my like mind allwase gets visions and memories thinking of how different and more full of giant crevasses and underground caves that everywhere including the coast would be if it wasn't all completely sculpted by humans!
