Been to India once at Chennai, the traffic was crazy and folks was friendly, wasn’t a fan of how the air smelt like curry spice and Body odor everywhere ya go.

I would still say that it might be a different experience if you're a solo woman walking alone in India. I also agree with you that it's great that they speak English there. Otherwise it would be super stressful trying to find your way around.
