Great video, as always Richard. I compared this lens to the Nikon 20mm f/1.8 in my latest blog post and even mentioned that your video was what people should go and watch! Big part of my decision to buy this lens and I haven’t even got to Astro yet! Fantastic to see top notch videos from a fellow Aussie, keep them coming mate!
Just got this lens. Never use such a wide lens. Do I need to focus stack on most photos? Can u make a video on where to focus and how to choose the f stop to get at least 1/3 of the landscape in focus?
This is great. For people like me who are amateurs and shoot the occasional astro photograph every now and then it is a good choice. It’s not overly expensive and since now viltrox offers autofocus that works its an added bonus for people with failing eyesight. 😃 Personally I know how to focus in the dark but if I don’t have my glasses I’d hate to go back home and discover that I’ve missed focus!
Thank you Richard. Richard, as we are in the Southern Hemisphere, (me in Brazil and you in Australia) this week I took some good photos of comet 12P/PONS-BROOKS - although very small in the sky, it yielded beautiful photos.
Hi, Richard. Very nice review, indeed. Coincidentally, I ordered my copy last week after seeing some reviews on YT. I'm a Sony user. But your approach here, as usual, was amazing and makes me feel confident with the choice I made. Thanks!
Thanks for the review, Richard. Having a real problem with cloudy skies in Texas lately, haven't seen hardly a star, let alone the Milky Way! Any, I noticed in Lightroom your white balance is at 3000 in your examples. Is that your "go to" white balance in camera? Thanks.
Great to see such a variety of high quality lenses coming through - the rising tide that lifts all nightscape ships!! Great review, Richard. Mind boggling how a relatively affordable lens (vs the OEMs at least) can look so sharp at f1.8 in the corners.
Thanks for this very interesting video. It seams this lens should be the choice for night scape photography. I have just one question. Do you use astro converted Nikon Z6 (with removed IR-Filter) or orginal manufactured cameras? Did you ever considered to buy a astro converted camera?
Great review Richard, certainly is dark up in those corners, but seems to be ball park in that regard with the much more expensive Sony 14 GM f/1.8 and Sigma DN 14mm f/1.4. So glad Viltrox has gotten to releasing this on other mounts, it's too good a lens to keep just to E-mount. Hopefully they release for L-Mount too!
Thank you for including some test shots that have buildings in the frame as I feel that really shows off the performance as far as distortion goes at the 16mm focal length. Looks to be quite good. A few calibration frames could work quite well for removing the vignette.
Great images. I have this lens for 6 months now pretty much 99% on the camera. , replacing GM24mm which now I use on the second cropped camera. Overall a great ultra wide lens, good focusing with some hunting in backlight situation, pretty sharp wide open. I used this to capture the Aurora Australis recently and happy with the result.

Thanks for all that info on the Viltrox for Milky Way use, Richard. A couple of questions if you have time: Did the lens come with a manufacturer's lens profile? If one was supplied, is the process of loading 3rd party profiles in Lightroom/ACR very difficult? I don't know enough about the cosmos to know, but that 1 star out of round, is it possible that was a distant nebula or galaxy with gas clouds showing around it? (Or is my ignorance showing? 😊)
Yes there is a lens profile in Lightroom . .I was surprised myself. It's possible that there may be all sorts of galaxies in these photos. . not sure exactly which star you're referring to.
What is more relevant is that numerous reviewers were too keen to praise than question , query etc any brand more notably Canon . When they all brown nosed Canon praising the R7 i . Whilst neglecting the blatent obvious .. Array of affordable lenses . There was / is next to zero . And Canon clamping down on Brands making gear ..certainly never helped .
I also own the lens for my Sony A7c and I have experienced shooting the Milky Way, so my question is regarding the presetting of the 2 positions as foreground and as bright stars (infinity) Do you achieve pin-sharp and round stars presets which can be used each time reliably without having to reset on every Milky Way shooting?
Thank you for the review Richard. I got a copy of that lens for sony E mount. Unfortunately my copy shows a lot more astigmatism than yours. I had to replace the first copy I received, because it was decentred. The second copy seems to perform better, but when I got the chance to test it a few weeks later I noticed fighter jet stars in a large section of the frame, not just the extreme corners. I think if I were to buy a wide angle lens again I'd get a second hand Sony 14mm GM for twice the price of the Viltrox.
That's always a problem for lower budget lenses Markus. Exactly my issues with the Laowa 15mm f2. Others have great copies but not me. Same with Samyang brand. The Sony 14mm is a wonderful lens.
Love my Viltrox 16mm although I use the Sony mount and the Neewer adapter on my Z6. The digital display is very handy when using an Ha clip in filter because of focus shift fond that 1.5 meters give me infinity, so yes very handy and accurate too. Only fault I have is that the focus motors wouldn’t work at -20 C 😅 maybe a lens warmer might help. Excellent review ❤
Subscribed, just brought a Z6iii and after a wide lens and this looks like it for me. I am new to Astro and would love to know how you do this as your images are amazing, utterly AMAZING!

Hi Richard, have you ever considered testing a cine lens for astrophotography. I have never used one but they are supposed have no chromatic abbreviation, have a very wide T stop (F stop) and a very smooth focusing system. The Samyang 24mm T1.5 (equates to F1.4) cine lens at around $750au looks like it might be worth looking into.
It produced some quite stunning images in your hands Richard, excellent stuff and great value. Can I ask you if you use your Nikon 14-24 f2.8 much nowadays for nightscapes? I have this lens but haven't tried it yet for astro, it's a wonderful landscape lens. Cheers, Robert.
Thank you for great video and informative review! Is this viltrox 16 f1.8 better than z20 f1.8 and z14-24 f2.8 in terms of astigmatism, resolution, vignetting? I wonder which lense to buy viltrox 16 or z20 for landscape milkyway or panoramic milkyway(arch). I think it's problem to have strong vignetting when it comes to panorama. Viltrox may be troublesome… I should stopping down to f2.8. As for z20 1.8, it cross my mind sigma 20 1.4 dg dn(there is some report to have trouble with using adaptor, though). And, z20 1.8 has also little come and strong vignetting(when stopping down, it will well immediately than viltrox?) This is a tough one. Sorry for my bad english.
The Z20mm f1.8 is a better lens and what I would choose. All of these lenses have some vignetting wide open and that is often why I stop down the aperture a bit as well. The Sigma DGDN lenses are wonderful but I've not tried them on Nikon via adaptor.
I will check out this lens. Good to have a back up for my Z 14-24. Apart from this Viltrox, I like to test out 7artisan and Samyang wide lens. The Laowa is ok but its purple fringing is a little too much for me. Yet to this it for astro yet though...Will do so soon. It is good that we now have many third party options and believe me that they are getting better and better each year
Hi Richard, what a great review! Some time ago, I dropped my Nikon 20mm Z 1.8 on the floor and had to send it to Nikon to replace the lens. They didn't do a very good job, and the stars in one corner look horrible... Would it be worth selling it and buying this Viltrox? Can they be compared in terms of quality?
The Viltrox is very good and close to the 20mm f1.8 in quality for sure. I think the Nikon Z20 is fantastic though .. but of course if it's de-centred then the Viltrox will be better. I used the Viltrox for nearly all my nightscapes on a recent trip. I haven't noticed the difference in focal length as much as I thought I would.
Hi Richard another great video, just enquiring I know you like primes, but having the Sony 16-35 f2.8 is this not an ok lens if you were only using the one lens for both landscape & astrophotography. I do have primes like 20mm f1.8 & 24 f1.4 but was trying to cut down on lenses. What I am trying to say is 1.8 such a huge deal over the 2.8.? Confused on what lens is ok for Astro. Thanks for your time and hope to see you in Tassie next year. Thanks
Hi Wayne. Yes there is nothing wrong with the 16-35 f2.8 as it's a really nice all rounder. There are some occasions where that fast f1.8 aperture comes in really handy though . .such as getting better foreground detail on a dark night or aurora shooting.
I bought the Samyang 24mm f/1.8 and loved the infinity focus button on it, but it's just not wide enough. I hadn't even looked around for anything else. But now I've seen your review I will be adding this to my kit. Thanks for your review mate 😊
Fantastic in depth real-life review there Richard. Looks like a great option if you'd want to go a bit wider. I might consider adding the 16mm to my kit sometime. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Excellent review Richard, inspiring photos. I carry the Z 20mm f/1.8 and the 14-30mm f/4 and I've been waiting for Nikon to release a 14, 15 or 16mm f/1.8 or even f/1.4 but it never comes out again. I've already thought about buying the Sony 14mm f/1.8 but it costs a lot and you still have to use an adapter that costs almost half the price of the Vitrox 16mm lens. The Megadap FE-Z adapter costs €303.00 here at Europra. It's a shame Vitrox doesn't have this lens for Nikon Z because you'll have to use an adapter to use it on Nikon Z cameras. Vitrox 16mm E-mount €599.00 + customs taxes +Megadap FE-Z €303.00 is a bit of a strange budget, but it's still a good option as Richard says for Nikon shooters. I'll wait a little longer to see if Nikon launches a 14, 15 or 16mm f/1.8 or f/1.4, hugs and I'll wait for your next video Richard
@@nightscapeimages.richard Ok Richard, but I still don't see the lens in the Vitrox Store for Nikon just for Sony, it is already being sold for Nikon Z in Australia Richard?? And having two Press Function Button to Set Focus Memory is stupendous.
@@mariopereira8261 it is not on the market here in EU yet - it should be available in the next 3 days. Some online shops in Germany like Foto Koch and Rollei already have them listed.
Would you recommend this lens to someone who already has the Z 20mm f1.8? Is the extra FoV useful for milkyway and aurora photography? I’m going to Iceland and thinking if I should get this as well.
I don't think it's different enough to replace the Z20mm lens. It is very good though .. most likely an addition to people who had 24mm upwards I'd say.
Hi Richard, great video as usual, QQQ Are u satisfied with the corner performance for stars? I like my 20 1.8 s and even in that i see few stars with commet effect. How does it compares to 20 1.8 S?
I was thinking about buying a Nikon z6ii and wondering what lens to buy as my first and wouldn't you know you just made a video 13 days ago. THANKS for making this video.
@nightscapeimages.richard Thanks for the reply. I was shooting with it the other night for the first time and thought it seemed kind of bright for my night vision. I'm pretty happy with the lens overall.
May I know, how does this lens perform when compared to nikon z 20mm f1.8s lens.. which one would you prefer if I am starting for astrophotography kit as i want a lens for both astro and wedding purpose...
Richard, When set at infinity on the small monitor on top of the lens, is that accurate for your particular lens? Do you have an exact distance set on your pre-set for infinity, and if so, what is it?. Thanks
Hi Richard, great video! Thanks for the review. I have a question regarding this lens, is there a way to turn off the focus ring? I like to mount a lens warmer when it gets cold and humid, but find that it can twist and break focus. I would really like a lens where the focus ring can be either locked or disabled.
Thanks so much for watching. No there is no focus lock switch on this lens. But I was using a lens warmer on that timelapse and had no issues. I usually fit the lens warmer first and then focus "through" it. If you're worried just hit the infinity focus button and it will focus back to infinity.
@@nightscapeimages.richard thanks for the tip! Bummer that my 20 1.8 Z does not have a focus to infinity button :( will try this lens out and see if it works better :) though I doubt it's as sharp as the Z 20 1.8, I think it's plenty sharp for what I need
@@chaibhav Most of the native Nikon Z lenses do focus to infinity when you turn the camera on. Just make sure the "Save Focus Position" in the menu is turned off.
I dunno how you managed to get hold of this lens for the Nikon Z mount. But you reviewed it several days before its actual official launch. But I'm, definitely, buying this for my Full Frame Nikon Z6 and Z5. Thanks, Richard.
Between this ($600), the Nikon 20mm 1.8G ($600 used w/adapter) and the 20mm Z ($900 used) which one would you go for? This would be my first ultra-wide.
Another very interesting review Richard, you keep presenting us with new ways to spend money 😂😂😂. I've also had my eye on the new Laowa 10mm for Nikon Z 🤔, maybe too wide but would be interesting for timelapses and general landscape photography.
Thanks Greg. I'm very good at spending other people's money .. !!! I did see a Laowa 10mm f2.8 the other day. It's surprisingly small and lightweight. Not too sure of the optical performance though.
Super-useful review. I have been using the Laowa 15mm f/2.0 and the Nikkor 20mm f/1.8; the Laowa has a lot of distortion in the corners and the Nikkor keeps getting condensation despite using a lens warmer, so I’m thinking about alternatives.
You never fail to produce top quality informative videos Richard. I am wondering if you have Vinette control turned on in camera and does it help on these wide lenses.
Richard this was great I've been looking at this lense myself i think you have sold it for me now Do you have a link or recommendation where I can buy it from?
Hey Craig. I think it's a really good option for low light work. The official release date isn't til next week. I'd imagine it will show up in links then.
Hi Richard, amazing review. Is it possible to dim the brightness or turn off the screen on the lens? Thinking of adding this one as my aurora and nightscape lens next o my 14-24 2.8. Which as you say is only 2.8. 😊
Thanks for watching Koen. I can't see a way of turning off the screen . .however I did notice that after a while it seems to go off all by itself until an adjustment is made. I didn't notice any light spillage issues with that screen being on though in my testing.
To get back on the matter, I have used this lens now with my z6a and there is light bleed in some of the frames, it is internal light bleed from the OLED screen (I taped the outside with black tape). Viltrox’s engineers are working on an update for the issue.l!
@@nightscapeimages.richardno it didn’t it is internal light bleed, I asked Uros Fink the same and he also has that issue. They are coming with a firmware upgrade that should resolve that issue of the oled screen for modified cameras.
great review to know this lens is capable to do stars night photography. There was comparison with Sony 14mm f1.8 G master seen to be on par and slightly better CA then Sony 14mm but not as match for Sony 20mm f1.8.
great video, I still like to use Nikon Z20mm f/1.8 lens that it is automatic focus to infinity when switch on the Z8. but that screen on Viltrox lens really help so as,the function button is a good thoughts.
I have the 16mm and 35mm AF and the 20mm MF lenses for Sony and enjoy them all, though I've yet to get out to do astro. Viltrox seems to make decent quality lenses at very good prices, which makes me tempted to get more of the range to get more flexibility... I'm eyeing the 24mm or 28mm to fill the gap.
I have truly enjoyed this and other videos you make about nightscape images. You have peaked my interest in learning how to make them myself. My photography background is in high school and some collegiate sports where my idea of a perfect lens is a Nikon 400mm 2.8. I have a good number of zooms but no wide angle primes except the Nikon 40mm 2.0 I got with the Zf kit. I am going to purchase the Viltrox 16mm. I own Nikon as well and have the Z9 which is amazing fast for sports. What advice would you give someone like me who would like to test the waters so to speak? I am subscribed to your channel and see some amazing images. I live on east coast of Florida in a small town, not too much light contamination. Just 60 miles south of Cape Canaveral. To the west of me 10 miles or so is nothing but ponds and marsh and cattle ranching. and gators!!. thanks , Ted in Sebastian, Fl.
Thanks so much for your kind words Ted. It sounds like you have good experience with photography and good equipment. Nightscape shooting is simply an extension of daytime landscapes .. but you have to deal with having to limit your shutter speed as the stars are moving. Work on composition . .it's still the most important element. . followed by post processing. I have many videos covering these subjects here on the channel.
Excellent review as usual Richard. How to you think the Viltrox 16mm f1.8 lens stacks up to the Nikon 20mm f1.8 Z in terms of performance / Quality? Cheers, Hendrik
@@nightscapeimages.richard Much appreciate your feedback Richard. Hope you saw the Southern Lights last Friday/Saturday 10/11th May. I am still speechless... What a magnificent Show!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Ever since I got into Z land I've been wanting Sigma, Tamron or Viltrox or somebody to make a 16mm prime lens (FF) with a fast aperture, 1.4 or 1.8, that could double as my landscape and astro lens. And 77mm thread to match my 24-120 and 100-400???? This is a great day.
Been waiting for this one myself too and it looks fantastic. I'm looking for a "jack of all trades" lens, because I'd like to use it for vlogging (tho it could be just a little bit heavy in a combination with my Z6, but I still think it could be done), for close up foregrounds and timelapses and this one ticks all the boxes. My 2nd option would be Pergear 14mm f2.8, which I could use in DX mode for vlogging, so it wouldnt be so crazy wide, but I have the same problem as you mentioned about your zoom Nikon - its only f2.8
@@nightscapeimages.richard bad performance? I've seen a review by Ivan Ferrero here on YT (it is in spanish, but comes with subtitles) and corners looked perfect and I mean really perfect. Possible you got a bad copy? EDIT: mk2 is good, first version is indeed crap.
@@matej.mlakar I can't remember what version it was . .it was a couple of years ago. But to be honest I'm not too interested in f2.8 lenses these days.
Hello, can you tell me which lens you think is better - Nikon 17-28 f/2.8 vs Viltrox 16mm. If you compare 16 and 17mm. I have a 17-28 and I'm thinking about buying a Viltrox. I see the Viltrox has a big vignette, so when stopped they end up similar?
I did try the Nikon 17-28 f2.8 and liked it a lot. But I would always go for the lens with the widest aperture for shooting nightscape photography. In that case the Viltrox 16mm f1.8. If you want an all purpose lens for daytime shooting as well . .then the17-28 may well be the better option.
@@nightscapeimages.richard Hello, I bought Viltrox but I am already returning it. When using f1.8-2.8 the edges are very bad (not even the edges, but 30% from the edge). The Nikon Z 17-28 is significantly better. Maybe I came across such a specimen, but I think that this lens is not designed for the Z system, but an FZT adapter is added to the DSLR lens scheme. It's not the same. If you have the opportunity, do a test on the day Nikon Z 14-24mm VS Viltrox at f/2.8. If the Viltrox edges are significantly worse then my version is correct, if the edges are similar then I had a bad copy and you have a great lens.

Wow -20 is pretty cold ..!!! Thanks heaps for tuning in Carl.
Awesome results Richard, Viltrox is making some great lenses 👍
Yes I totally agree Dennis.

Hello Richard,from your experience
This lens good or perfect for video?
It's very good for video. But I didn't test it comprehensively using video.
thanks a lot, great reviw again. A lens that got my attention when it got out for Sony for astro time lapsing with my Z6 (modified)
Thanks so much for watching
Hi Richard, have you ever considered testing a cine lens for astrophotography. I have never used one but they are supposed have no chromatic abbreviation, have a very wide T stop (F stop) and a very smooth focusing system. The Samyang 24mm T1.5 (equates to F1.4) cine lens at around $750au looks like it might be worth looking into.
I've never used a Cine lens but it's a good suggestion .. perhaps one day.
Thanks so much for watching Robert. To be honest I don't use the Z14-24 f2.8 much at all. Usually for timelapse.
Great review and images. What is the foot/collar you have on the lens ? Thanks in advance
Thanks heaps for watching Tom. The collar is this. silencecorner.net/collections/atoll-series
As for z20 1.8, it cross my mind sigma 20
1.4 dg dn(there is some report to have trouble with using adaptor, though). And, z20 1.8 has also little come and strong vignetting(when stopping down, it
will well immediately than viltrox?)
This is a tough one.
It is good that we now have many third party options and believe me that they are getting better and better each year
Thanks so much for watching. Yes it is good to see lots of new lenses coming along.
Thanks handy to know
I bought the Samyang 24mm f/1.8 and loved the infinity focus button on it, but it's just not wide enough. I hadn't even looked around for anything else. But now I've seen your review I will be adding this to my kit. Thanks for your review mate 😊
You're very welcome Alan. Thanks for watching.
Hi Richard, Wonderful review! Thanks for the information. Take care, Jerry
Always appreciated Jerry, thank you.
Fantastic in depth real-life review there Richard. Looks like a great option if you'd want to go a bit wider. I might consider adding the 16mm to my kit sometime. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Thanks so much Jeroen. I'm not sure there is a Canon mount version of this lens though.
@@nightscapeimages.richard I have recently upgraded to a Nikon Z6 and 20mm S lens, partly inspired by your setup :-).
@@StarScaperPhoto Oh yes, I think you did tell me that.
Planning a trip to shoot the northern lights. I need to purchase a lens for that trip. Would this be a good choice?
Yes I think it would be a great choice. I've just used it this past weekend shooting auroras here in Australia. Great results.
So that's where this lens comes in. Native Nikon Z mount and very high quality.

Very good review. Thank you for that. I must come on one of your workshops one day.
Thanks so much Geoffrey.
@@nightscapeimages.richard thanks!
The preset focus points would come in very handy when your shooting a panorama that needs to be focus stacked!
Yes I guess it would John. But I've never focus stacked a panorama.
Hi Richard, great video as usual, QQQ Are u satisfied with the corner performance for stars? I like my 20 1.8 s and even in that i see few stars with commet effect. How does it compares to 20 1.8 S?
It's actually pretty good. No lens is perfect in this regard but I'd say the Nikon 20 is slightly better.
@@nightscapeimages.richard Thanks Richard
Viltrox is putting out some pretty good glass, certainly punching above it’s weight class
Yes I totally agree about that. Appreciate you watching.
I was thinking about buying a Nikon z6ii and wondering what lens to buy as my first and wouldn't you know you just made a video 13 days ago. THANKS for making this video.
I'm pleased it was helpful Craig. Thanks for watching.
What are your thoughts on the brightness of the LED panel while shooting at night? Have you been able to dim the display?
Hey Matt. You can't dim the display but I haven't found it to be a problem.
The Nikon 20mm f1.8Z lens is my choice to astro for sure. Not too sure I'd use it at weddings much though.
Richard, When set at infinity on the small monitor on top of the lens, is that accurate for your particular lens? Do you have an exact distance set on your pre-set for infinity, and if so, what is it?. Thanks
I do find it very accurate Ed. No I didn't set any particular distance .. I'm using it as factory set.
Thank you for your great video. What about coma comparing to Z 14-24/2.8 and Z 17-28/2.8?
Thanks so much for watching. I'd say the coma performance is comparable to the Nikon 17-28 f2.8 but this one goes to f1.8 which is wonderful.
I dunno how you managed to get hold of this lens for the Nikon Z mount. But you reviewed it several days before its actual official launch. But I'm, definitely, buying this for my Full Frame Nikon Z6 and Z5. Thanks, Richard.
Thanks for watching. I got it to do the review straight from Chinese supplier.
If you had to choose one would it be the Viltrox or the Laowa?
I'd choose the Viltrox over the Laowa
Between this ($600), the Nikon 20mm 1.8G ($600 used w/adapter) and the 20mm Z ($900 used) which one would you go for? This would be my first ultra-wide.
The Nikon 20mmZ is the best. After that I'd go with the Viltrox 16mm then the Nikon 20mm f1.8G
@@nightscapeimages.richard Yes, I'm a little concerned about that too - and not many reviews out there yet... C'mon Richard, just one more review 😉🤣🤣
Super-useful review. I have been using the Laowa 15mm f/2.0 and the Nikkor 20mm f/1.8; the Laowa has a lot of distortion in the corners and the Nikkor keeps getting condensation despite using a lens warmer, so I’m thinking about alternatives.
Thanks for watching Nigel. I also have a lot of trouble with condensation on the Nikon 20mm f1.8. So far this Viltrox is g a really strong contender.
@@nightscapeimages.richard Is Nikkor 20mm for F mount aka older one or newer one you gents talk about?
You never fail to produce top quality informative videos Richard. I am wondering if you have Vinette control turned on in camera and does it help on these wide lenses.
Thanks for your great comments Gus. Yes I did have vignette control turned on. It's just that wide angle lenses have lots of it.
Great information Richard, looks like a nice lens. I was actually wondering what type/brand of Rotating Collar you have on your Z6ii.

Richard this was great I've been looking at this lense myself i think you have sold it for me now
Do you have a link or recommendation where I can buy it from?
@@nightscapeimages.richard Thank you Richard, for your help. Going to order the lens later this week to do some astrophotography in Greece late June.
To get back on the matter, I have used this lens now with my z6a and there is light bleed in some of the frames, it is internal light bleed from the OLED screen (I taped the outside with black tape). Viltrox’s engineers are working on an update for the issue.l!
@@koenpijpersphotography Yes I'm also having that issue. Did the black tape make any difference ..???

I have the 16mm and 35mm AF and the 20mm MF lenses for Sony and enjoy them all, though I've yet to get out to do astro. Viltrox seems to make decent quality lenses at very good prices, which makes me tempted to get more of the range to get more flexibility... I'm eyeing the 24mm or 28mm to fill the gap.
I agree. All the Viltrox lenses I've tested have been great.

I did try the Pergear 14mm f2.8 and had to send it back immediately . .not good for astro stuff at all.
@@nightscapeimages.richard bad performance? I've seen a review by Ivan Ferrero here on YT (it is in spanish, but comes with subtitles) and corners looked perfect and I mean really perfect. Possible you got a bad copy?

When can I purchase this lens? I don’t see it listed anywhere, and you don’t have a link?
I think it will be officially released this coming week.
