I know someone whose mother developed the recipe for their gravy back in the early 1960’s. Before then each location would make the gravy from scratch each day according to a recipe and she developed the same thing but in a powdered form so it could be made using water and as needed. She had to personally present it to Colonel Sanders and he could not tell the difference between the scratch made and powdered mix gravies. She made a percentage of all gravy mixes used and had a 20 year contract. When the new owners took over they tried to break the contract but couldn’t. When the contract was finished they changed the gravy recipe so much they did not have to pay her anymore. So if you think the taste of the gravy changed in the 1980’s - it did.
Remember kids; If you ever sell your company, make sure to write on the contract that they can only charge 10% more than what it costs to make the products. That way they'll either have to keep prices low, or serve a quality product

Huh? No absolutely not
Do some people in Japan eat it on Christmas? Sure but you're exaggerating to the extreme there
Even on Christmas these years they buy less and less KFC as konbinis also have Christmas fried chicken sets
Outside Christmas time Japaneses go more often to Macdonald's or konbini for chicken
Did you get your informations from a RUclips video or internet because you're really off there
I remember getting kfc in China, excuse my lanaguage but fucking hell its delicious(and spicy), I still think about it to this day.
@@TheDeez29yeah how is that possible? I actually had KFC in Japan for Chrismas, it was like the best thing ever. Meanwhile in Europe it tastes meh, like not worth it at all here
KFC is super popular in Japan during Christmas season.
Not only that, but Colonel Sanders loved KFC's gravy, he bragged about it being so good that you'll ditch the chicken and drink all the gravy, but when he tried the new gravy, it did not taste the same to him that he would throw the gravy to the ground. He mentioned that the gravy felt like it was thousands of gallons of tap water mixed with flour and starch and ends up with pure wallpaper paste. He also founded his new restaurant along with his wife called "Claudia Sanders, the Colonel's lady" to serve the original fried chicken recipe, but Colonel Sanders got sued by the KFC company for it.

As a former Manager at a kfc restaurant, this is true, its too much pressure on the employees and managers. things are commonly missed due to things not being the way they should but are because of cutting corners, tho ive done things to prevent cutting corners for a better result, they keep cutting corners and it just gets worse. I still do work as a manager but not for long. The prices are ridiculous, Kfc truly doesn't care about quality, they only care about your money like apple. Apple has the same intentions as other companies, just that they don’t cut corners but make small improvements per phone to maximize profit, this is why you don’t see amazing improvements on an iPhone anymore
What does Apple have to do with this?
