Nice work on the compressor! I like the thinking outside of the box!
I have enjoyed this build. You're right about part of off-roading being maintenence and repair. Yeah, the off-road videos are great, but I enjoy the build videos just as much, probably more, than those. The frankenpressor has really come together nicely. Can't wait to see what you do next.
@@theezeelife292 well despite not really being prepared yet, the plan was to get this thing done and out of the way so I can shove the jeep sideways and get things straightened. Then yanking out that 44 finally. I have no clue what my next steps are as I haven’t thought about it since June 😅
Cool compressor! My work had the compressor on the rubber pads, and then on a pallet! Worked fantastic
I'll see how it does before I do anything too crazy. I wanted to build this thing outside and make a hush house over the summer but never got it done. Honestly its quiet enough I might not even bother. Who knows
The compressor came out great
@@DaddyJeepGarage thanks! I just hope it keeps up. Takes awhile to fill but it’s 4 times the volume.
24:42 Yes. Tape measures have a camouflage that hides themselves until you give up looking for them or in some cases use something else and make a mistake then they choose to appear.
@@MalarkeyTaylor can’t tell you how many times I use my arm and mark a spot on my tattoo. I’ve considered getting a tape measure tattoo😅
Sweet! If you step a parallel circuit to 120, you can add a fan to your cooler. Im a bit jealous, my compressor is really loud 👍🏻
I originally mentioned that but I ended up cutting it out of the video just because it was so damn long but that is in the plan to watch the temperatures and add a fan if necessary
@FlawedOffroad I love it! Props for it being so quiet too.
I misplace my tape measure all the time. This project was a lot of work, but you seemed to enjoy it.
Let's be real, the saving money part was nice but this was absolutely a super fun project for me. I used to work on machinery all the time and it was a nice throwback.
Awesome build Danno!! You should be proud of the job you done building that compressor for about one third the cost of a new one....What is that Blains farm and fleet store like?? Where I live here in southern Illinois we have Farm and Home Supply and Tractor Supply stores...
Its just like a Thiessens or a fleet farm. Can't say I have been in a tractor supply, you would think they would be more abundant in Iowa but I don't know of one near me. Everything from tools, automotive, clothing, plumbing and welding supplies, paint, hunting and sporting gear. I love the place but I spend too much there!
