Great video on cheeseburger! Preheated my grill plate ten minutes and my burgers with a drop of liquid smoke seasoning came out great andjuicy! Thank you for sharing this informative video!
Thanks for this tutorial! It may not be better than grilling in the backyard, but it is still better than McDonald's, Burger King or most other fast food restaurant burgers. Your burgers may have come out medium, but this video is WELL DONE!
just made a london broil last night on the air fryer was perfect gordon ramseys doing it too awesome recipes so i want to try the burgers thats what made me look this up and your video popped up first!
I used 180C (360F) for 9 minutes uninterrupted in my Phillips XXL with some pure ground grass fed beef. They were perfect. My wife insisted I cut one open one to check that it was done on the inside as well. Out squired juices for about 4 inches. The air fryer had seared and sealed all sides simultaneously locking in the flavourful juices. It’s a superior result.
The “pink” grill marks are because those are the surfaces where no air is flowing. That tray won’t work to make real marks. You need an insert “wire grate” that the burgers sit up on so the air can flow thoroughly over the burger surface.
I use a wire pizza rack airfry are amazing and does nearly everything a normal oven can in a faster time except pizza’s.the airflow blows all the toppings all oven the place
You are Correct, Sorry about that! Thanks for Watching! www.amazon.com/Chef-Tony-Healthy-Cooking-Grilling/dp/B00UY14524/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1543611820&sr=8-5&keywords=Chef+Tony
Hi Tom, I added raw sliced onions on top of the cooked burger for 2 mins but it didn’t carmelize so I cooked it for another 3 mins. At that point the burger overcooked and was dry and the onions that slid off the burger onto the pan carmelized. So I think it’ll be best to put the onions on the pan rather than on the burger. We’ll flag me if you add onions next time.
Maybe try putting the onion on after you flip the burgers? I've been experimenting with mine. Making burgers tonight! I'm not familiar with this particular air fryer, but mine has a grill option and it works awesome!
I tried putting American cheese on my burger in the air fryer but the cheese flew away from the burger. Tried sticking it with toothpicks. Didn’t work either. What should I do?
Thanks for Watching ! Sorry that made me laugh! Maybe try when the burger is about done put the cheese on it and let it melt in a bit which will make it stick better and then put it back in so it doesn’t fly away
Teresa Booth Ok, you can try some water on the bottom. Asked which will catch the grease and not allow it smoke. This should help, also with the splatter. Thanks for watching!
Do you have the bottom of that lined with paper AND the grill accessory? No wonder it took 10 minutes to cook a medium burger lol You're not supposed to cover the bottom of an air fryer like that. the air needs room to circulate, including from underneath.
Those buns aren't gonna taste very good because you forgot to put them onto the air fryer tray so as to warm them up and give them a little bit of color.
I have a 1.9 qt AF. I have made burgers, chicken, fries & biscuits in mine so far. I love mine. I plan on experimenting more with it. And I already want a bigger one!!
I was seriously cringing that you used the same tongs that touched the raw meat, to pick up the cooked burgers. Cooking 101 teaches you about cross-contamination. Hope you didn't get explosive diarrhea :D
Janette B Thanks for Watching Janette! Thanks also for your concern. I didn’t talk about it in this video but I mention in quite a few videos about care when handling raw meat. Thanks for the reminder
Yeah, and closes the air fryer with the same hand touched the burgers with. I always write them off as just things people do when making videos and not normally, and edit out the boring cleaning. Its not his job to teach all the viewers cross-contamination.
They look great but I can cook 20 burgers on my Weber barbecue in 10 minutes, including the cheese! No clean up, just brush off the grill. Also 5 or 6oz. burgers..
Too much checking and turning, the insert you got is worthless for marks, those tiny holes got clogged with burger fat and doesn't allow the super heated air to go get under, it's why you had perfect raw burger strips the width of the insert grates when you first flipped,, if you want marks just use the raised insert that came with it, but really who cares, just put them in for 10 minutes and leave them alone. I don't do grills so not sure why you think that, nobody I know grills, it's one of those food network myths.
My airfryer changed my life. I never eat out anymore.
casey b Thanks for Watching Casey!
Me too
Your girlfriend must hate you.

I just made the most delicious steak with mine lol.
There is nothing wrong with a quick Burger, especially when they're sizzling and juicy like this. You did great!

Burgers steaks and frozen fries are the best in the air fryer. Left over Popeyes are really good too.
Thanks for Watching! Great tip! Thanks
Making air fyrer burgers tonight, needed to know how long to cook. Thanks Tom!
Thanks PaPa!
Sear marks are often overrated Tom. As long as you get an overall good crust and good flavor, they are good burgers. Quick too. Thanks.
Thanks Mike! I still prefer them on the grill...
Hey man, you work hard, enjoy what pleasures you. Great video :)
Thanks for Watching Kevin! Appreciate the support!
THEY LOOK AWESOME...YUMM
Ricky Lawrence Thanks Ricky!

Honestly done. Great job.
Thanks for Watching Anthony!
I will try this out for my air fryer
Martell Tha Cool Thanks for Watching Martell!
Nice video. If you're doing keto, you can keep the fat for rendering later or else just dabble it onto the meat. Yum!
Thanks for Watching! Good idea!
Thanks for this recipe. No sear marks but it was above average burger and I'm sure it will be glorious after a night out once this thing is over.
Thanks for watching! Hopefully this “thing” does end....
Sadly, it's the cure everyone should have been scared of.
Great looking burger! Unless that accessory was very well pre-heated, it would be tough to get good seer marks.
I agree! but I had to try, Thanks for Watching!
i love 🍔.it is one of my top favorite foods of all time.
Me too! Thanks for Watching!
you're very welcome.
Thanks!

Hey! Two questions: 1. Should I change settings for 1/3 lb patties? 2. Could I toast the buns in the air fryer?
Thanks for watching Brent! Cook them on high as I did and yes you can toast your buns on the Air fryer!
Love touch screen air fryers
Thanks for Watching!

Of course the charcoal grill is the best flavor . But the af is a close second right?
Carol Church It is a close second Carol! Thanks again!
Cast iron is the close second, but they do look good on the air fryer
@@SpartanElite216 yes cast iron is way better tasting then air fryer
Thanks for Watching!
How long do think it would take to make it well done in the air fryer?
Thanks for Watching Nathan! Depending on the temp it could take 25 minutes..lt will be different for each type of air fryer
Perfect!
Thank you!
You said you'd put the link to that grill accessory. Please post it. Looks like a good one.

Does the kitchen stink after? I have a big open space and wondering to buy it right to avoid the whole house to stink
Thanks for watching! In my opinion, awesome food on the air fryer, smells awesome! However it vents directly into the space you are using it in.
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ thanks, yes but let’s say fried meat doesn’t count as house fragrance really 😅
To some no,, and to some yes! Lol, like I said it does vent into your house
2thumbs up looks yummyand a sub u can do 10 mins and spray them with a little butter after the 8 mins give it some grill marks
I appreciate you watching and commenting! Thanks!
Hi, I love lots of onions on my burgers, no cheese. When would you add onions and how long? Thx
Thanks for Watching! I haven’t tried that before, although I think you could try in the last 2 minutes, let me know how it works
Hi Tom, I added raw sliced onions on top of the cooked burger for 2 mins but it didn’t carmelize so I cooked it for another 3 mins.
