Still wanted the season pass.

@@observantmonkey4055 I suppose Driveclub launch reception hindered the PS brand image and Sony's executives were upset with that and just let them finish the game up through updates and dlc than pulled the plug.
GT6 did make a lot of people mad at launch to like driveclub or more than that,but I guess since it makes lots of bucks and the anger was mostly at Polyphony and not PS brand itself. I guess they think it's whatever.

Not many people realise the detail that has gone into to game, from incredibly precisely detailed and models of cars to absolutely stunning textures and realism of scenery. The rain physics were wonderfully simulated from cockpit! The water would slide to left and right as you turn, sweep through windshield the faster you go. Eventually they updated the game and added the tyre flexing physics where it would flex accordingly to how hard you hit corners and bumps. It was a master piece! I’ve bought ps4 with it in 2014 with the game, driveclub edition. Since I’ve clocked about 25.000km in the game driving, bought every dlc, had my own club, set world records. Despite the limited offering of gameplay driveclub had there was something that pulled me into it everytime over any other racer! Brilliant game, I don’t think 6 years later games compare to it yet. Ridiculous under rated!

Definitely a masterpiece in its own kind which sadly died. For an early PS4 title it's a gorgeous game...especially when it rains and can still hold up with modern racing games. There should be another game like Driveclub on PS5 for sure (even better for all current platforms).

I don't know whose idea it was to put that absolutely *mental* downshift sound on the LaFerrari and the FXX K but they deserve an award, pat on the back, literally anything. I never got over that.
They didn't so much choose to, they recorded all the cars actually driving and not just grandma going to church type driving.

I preordered this game back in the days, because it looked and still looks breathtaking. For two years i didnt want to play any other game.....even tho its just as simple as it gets and doesnt have that much to offer, it was catching my attention more than everything ever.....imo, although it only had cars,tracks,clubs and challenges, it was PERFECT, from the sound to visuals,music, and the overall feel.
I was shocked after hearing that Evolution Studios was going to be ripped apart. I hope that we will see something similar stunning for the PS5.

super fun and also difficult, but still super fun
Sony continued to support Driveclub with DLC after the shutdown with other studios, so there is hope that they could do a Driveclub 2 with that team. A sequel on PS4 doesn't make sense because they already pushed the console to the limit with the first game. No other car game comes close graphically, in the dynamic time of day and weather and audio, because all others targets 60 FPS and you can't achieve what Driveclub does if you UP the fps this gen.
The PS5 would be perfect to delivering even more fidelity at higher resolution and locked 60FPS.
Hopefully at minimum evolution tech will trickle down into GT7.

As far as I remember, Finish line(the DLC with the Regera and the XJ 220 was the last pack.)
The season pass gives you all but the last 3 DLCs I think.(will need checking, I don't even remember)
just use this method where you use a VPN and get the season pass which contains almost all the DLC and Car Packs only two cars missing otherwise you get almost all the DLC and Car packs off gamestop Italy and also gotta create a account on gamestop btw and also create a Italy psn account with it activated as primary and then you're good to go here's the link to the season pass on gamestop Italy www.gamestop.it/PS4/Games/94461

Well sctually the huracan and gallardo have different pitches, Sesto Elemento has a Higher pitch than all.

I like all engine sounds but the Ferrari FXX K engine sound is so legendary also amazing work of getting all the engine sounds it's a feat that many people don't have.
This was my first game when I got ps4 and I played it so much. I have so much memories of this game and now it is dead. I had all cars even the dlc cars... Even the Driveclub Bikes, the bikes had such a great sounds :(

@@poere1234 I feel the sound designer for this game and the one for FH5 would make the best car sounds ever tbh. Cause Driveclub managed to get the pieces that are hard to record because of how loud they are or due to the pitch and Forza's sound designers with the realistic sound when it bounces off of structures and their knack for the subtler sounds would make it perfect!

As I big big Project Gotham Racing fan, I gotta say this was a fresh breath of air since Microsoft closed down the studio behind pgr, and I wasn't able to find a game like until this, but it seems like it shared the same fate which is unfortunate because this is just as good.
Actually, the studio behind pgr was sold to Activision, and after the poor sales of Blur, Activision shutted them down.
I also sad Driveclub was long delisted from PlayStation Store.

IMO, the standard quality ( in term of graphic) PS5 and Xbox Series X Racing Games should be like this. This was the best graphic quality in Racing Games on PS4, note : in term of graphic quality. For ex just like in my recent video.

Coming back 2 years after the video was made and for a PS4 game, I'm impressed. I feel like if this studio and PG had worked on FH5, the sounds could have been even better than they had been when FH5 launched.

iv never played this game but have ordered a copy of it to experience it for myself. its crazy the amount of detail this game has from the scenery to the weather effects, the car sounds and reflections without any of the current day ray tracing technology. if i had never seen this game and someone told me it was a new game despite the cars being not as current i would have believed it. hopefuly i can access the dlcs but if i cant itl be a bummer for sure but i will still enjoy this game none the less
