Hey man, I love your videos. I just bought a golf cart and I keep getting ripped off by shops that haven’t fixed anything and I’m looking to do a motor swap but I’m in Southern California. Do you have anybody you would recommend?
Well on the electric the motor actually turns clock wise and counterclockwise. On the gas cart crankshaft only turns one way but has a transaxle which changes direction forward and reverse. You will need to be creative or get a gas rear axle.
20 mph is very very lack luster and weak sauce for a 670 CC. I just upgraded my 1993 EZGO Marathon with the predator 670 and put in a 2006 TXT rear end under it and Im hitting almost 40 mph..... you have something wrong if your only getting 20 mph...
I agree this is stock with the governor in place which like you say is not very impressive however given that different users drive it we chose to keep it turned down.
That is the top speed without adjusting anything it revs strong and then the governor kicks it now we have removed one of the governors springs and it does a bit better.

What’s it run to in the axle I’m currently trying to switch one from electric to gas and the back axle has been an issue I’m going with same motor

Did you get to use the same clutch on the engine
The kit comes with a new clutch

Engine it’s to loud
It’s about the same as a 610 mule.
