i dont know if you guys caught this, but crow girl mentions that ai gave birth to soul-less children, which means those babies weren't alive until gorou and sarina's souls were put there :(
Ruby fully expressing how one of the reasons she’s hellbent on becoming a great Idol is the hope that Gorou-sensei finds her, only for her to be the one to *find* him is sad and tragic. 😢 But hey, look at the bright side no more 20+ year age gap lmao
The body got his ID and stuff, so Akane will eventually know aqua brought her to the dead guy’s house, and from ruby’s expression knows her knew the doctor and she will watch the news and knew they can’t physically know the guy because they were born after he died. And Akane being Akane she will start connecting the dots.
Crow girl will shape this story in an interesting way. Also if you remember season 1 episode 1... when they showed Gorou's funeral... never would have thought that was a 16 year gap scene.
Be Ruby: Get barely any screen time. A side character (Melt) outshine you with an entire episode dedicate to him. When is your moment to shine and do some Idol work you discover your lifetime crush murder scene. Become a Yandere (??) Poor Ruby, can't catch a break 😭 I was expecting Aqua to get a gut punch but it was all setup to be Ruby instead, now for sure I know this Author is a sadist lol
Season 3 finale will be pushed back to Oct 6th. Not my decision, they put the season premier of Rezero season 3 episode 1 for 90 minutes in that time slot
Even my true crime fiend mind didn’t go to Ruby finding the bones in a creepy cave in the forest 😭 Do you think this author and JJK’s mangaka exchange acknowledgement nods at industry events, thinking about how the other dealt maximum psychic damage to their characters and audience in the most recent chapter?

That ED has never hit so good, huh? 😌🤌🏿
For us Manga readers it's the ED of season 1 Mephisto. Aka really does put a lot of foreshadowing.
I also like the new scene they added in the Ed visual in this ep

40+ age gap... Gorou was in his 30's when he died, plus 17 years. I think Aqua said 15 years to not expose inconsistency.

Yes round 2 indeed. 🥲

Cutted content
During when Aqua was talking to Akane about Gorou... they didn't add how the rest of his family blamed him for his mom's death.

thank you for letting us know! i was worried about them both being on the same day.

From here on out, you will be seeing a LOT of Ruby especially in season 3.
