  • My first 2.5" cinewhoop and my first FPV build project. I just had to find out what flying a 25 cinewhoop was like compared to my c20 and cl20.
So I bought an AF c25 frame, 4 motors, and a FC for $140 direct from AF.
I took my o3 unit out of my c20 and put it into the c25 build.
So far I'm loving it! I can do light freestyle and it's actually a little quieter than my c20 is and much quieter than my CL35. With low rates, I'm hoping I can fly it indoors as well.

Another awesome flight! I agree the C25 is where it's at. Just wish those dam O3 units weren't so expensive LOL

The more I fly it, the more I love it. That size is perfect for me.
I measure pay in o3 units lol. A new couch costs $500, hell I could get a little over two o3 units for that :)
And thank you for watching and commenting, I appreciate it 👍

Hey there, I came over from your comment on the C20 battery test video. May I know out of the C20, C25 and Cinelog20, which is your favorite and If you could only keep one, which would it be and why.

Sorry, on second thoughts.. "How would you rank them?" seems like the better question to ask haha

      @chesterlim15 no problem, my pleasure.
      1. C25
      2. C20
      3. CL20
      I flew the cl20 alongside the c20.
      I like both equally. But.
The cl20 prop guard break easily, I've broke 5 guards and one bottom plate. I fly and crash the c20 mostly equally. Never had to replace a prop guard yet. Have replaced more props but 0 frame or guard replacement.
It is also easier to repair and build the c20/c25 compared to cl20.
That is why I choose the c20 over cl20.
Amd the same logic I used when building a 25. I decided that I like the cineon design better than the cl20 or cl25.
So now after flying all 3. I would have just bought the c25 and been done with it. More power, quieter, flies indoors just as well, more stable, and longer flights.
      I don't think I will fly either 20 again now that I have a 25.
I also bought a cl35 v2 over c35. So I'm not a total AF fan boy, though I am impressed with them.
If I could only have one cinewhoop, it would be axisflying c25.
But I have limited experience flying, 1st season actually. So take it for what it is worth.
But, I do know what I like at this point, Lol.

@@BartManDude Thank you for the detailed response! I think I'm leaning more towards the C20 and C25 as well. I believe the C25 flies better outdoors, but probably not as good as an indoor flyer due to its larger size.. At least I've narrowed it down to just the AF drones. Might just get either one of it and purchase the kit for the other like you did hahaha

Congrats on the 1st build! Soon you will have a wall of quads like the rest of us idiots. Nice new shed btw.

Thank you Tommy, especially for all of the advice and direction you've given me, I appeciate it.
My list of quads has certainly grown quickly lol. I had planned on doing builds this upcoming winter but by tomorrow, I should have them both finished. And summer has only just begun. Oh well, now I get to go fly and enjoy them and get some instant gratification (my favorite).
My roommate will enjoy hearing a comment about his new shed :) he has been putting a lot of work into the place recently. I went through a bunch of upgrades right before I decided to sell my house last year; Never got to really enjoy any of it for long. I like living here, I hope he doesn't follow suit ;)
